“I Rented Skis, boots, and poles from this place for this last season and was very impressed. As I was new to both the area and skiing, I was grateful for the advice they gave me and the guidance in choosing what I would need. I ended up skiing 12 times this winter, I absolutely loved it! Although they had a free tune up available, I did not even need to use it, the equipment was consistent throughout the whole winter. Since I am now looking to purchase skis for next season, I came in to return my skis today and I had a lot of questions. I would like to acknowledge Elliot for being very insightful and helpful, he was able to give me recommendations and tips for what I might want out of the next pair of skis I purchase based on what I noticed on the mountain and my skiing style. “My brother and I had planned a trip to Lake Champlain where we would be honoring my late father. Having our boat was a requirement.
Two weeks before the trip, we discovered the engine had a serious issue putting our plans in jeopardy.

“My favorite place for serious running and foot apparel. I've shopped here before but I felt bad for showing up 30 min before closing but I knew I would be quick. I was immediately greeted by the 3 employees there. The young man that helped me asked if I needed help finding anything in particular. New running shoes. I'm getting back into running. He explained the process. He was so knowledgeable about everything, which was surprising because he was very young. They check how you walk, they have you step onto a scanner they have that measures your body weight and locations of pressure. All to assist them with finding you the right shoes for you. He came back with boxes of all sorts. He explained the dynamics of every shoe, what it's known for, etc. Not one person was in a rush to close the store. I tried on a few pairs, they even offered to have shoes shipped to the store or my home if they didn't have them there. I decided on the ones I wanted. They were not overly priced, I had expected to pay more for my experience because that's what you get at Marathon Sports, a very thorough and helpful experience. It gives me confidence that I will be comfortable in my new shoes. Other retailers should learn from this place. I will never go anywhere else.”
“As a life-long fisherman, I appreciate this local store, and the live bait sold at very early hours is so helpful. Most of the time, I come here for salt-water live bait and frozen bait. They never disappoint, are personable and knowledgeable, and treat customers very well. Two hours later, when ready to head out from the mid-Cape, the bait is still alive and well if you use an inexpensive air pump.They will NOT try to sell you the bait that makes them the most money. They will tell you which baits are working best (lures too) and where. Jerry's understands that the best way to keep a customer is to ensure they are happy.Many bait shops keep the fishing intelligence to themselves, directing newbies to ok places. Jerry's will tell you the real hotspots based on the catch and what is biting. People new to fishing should also start here if they can. It is not as cheap as Wal-Mart or BassPro, but you get what you pay for. Their advice is invaluable, and you will leave with a rig for what you fish.”

They are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about sizes and styles and what would work best for your swimmer. The owner also encouraged me to buy the cheaper suit; she is not just trying to sell the most expensive product. I highly recommend this shop.”

“The staff at PR running were incredibly helpful and patient. I had to go in due to a plantar fasciitis diagnosis and had to bring my 3 young children. The staff was outstanding. They helped me find sneakers that are already helping my heel. They also were so kind in dealing with my three extra energetic children. We left a toy behind (I wasn't aware at the time) and I got a phone call, after they had closed, to let me know that they had the toy and set it aside for us. It was one of the nicest things a business has ever done. I could not recommend a business more.”
