“A beautiful old building with a very eclectic store inside. Many books, artisan cheeses and breads, seeds for the garden, etc. There's a small Cafe that was very busy. A unique experience you won't find anywhere else in the area. You must go.”
“I had an excellent experience at the Ocean State Job Lot in Dartmouth. This location has been organized, professional, and very helpful every time I have shopped there. The store is clean, the inventory is easy to navigate, and the staff does a great job keeping everything moving smoothly, even when customers are buying larger or more complicated items.
I especially want to recognize Maria and Sarah. Maria has been professional, respectful, and clearly helps keep the store running in an organized way. Sarah has also been extremely helpful with getting items prepared, assisting with larger purchases, and making the pickup/loading process much easier. Both of them are hardworking, patient, and customer-focused.
The Dartmouth Ocean State Job Lot team deserves recognition for the work they do. I appreciate the service here and will definitely continue shopping at this location.”

Whether it’s helping with online orders, locating items, answering questions, or making sure customers have what they need, they handle everything with patience and a great attitude.
You can tell they take pride in the store and in the work they do. They are relentless workers, very respectful, and they make the shopping experience much easier and more positive. I shop here often, and the level of customer service from this team is a big reason I continue coming back.

“If you really want to save money on your food this is the place to go. Many people say stay away because items are outdated, this is deceiving. The dating is past the sell by date buot the use by date. They also have a 200% money back guaranty if the item is bad. The foods are good and the prices are better. The owner is a great guy, very friendly and helpful. Many specials and different items always. The new store is nice and roomy and easy to get around. Go to Family Foods first then the larger main food stores for what you can't get there, your savings will show without having to cut coupons. Since my review was last posted and due to a certain incident happening I find it necessary to add to this review. Yes there there was an incident involving the owner Mike St Pierre at the Stae Capital, however he did publicly apologize for his actions as he can get rambunctious and excitablea at times”

“Not the most organized or stocked family dollar I've been in, but the young man at the register was very friendly and helpful. It's certainly worth taking a look and picking up a few things. Prices were great on the items I bought. There is plenty of parking but the store is pretty busy.”

“There isn't anything special about this store really. But whenever I need to go to a convenience store, this one doesn't disappoint. It has always had what I need when I need it. The bread is always fresh, and I believe it is local too. It also carries beer and wine. There are two reasons it didn't get five stars, I would like to see more of a selection of chips, and I know this is an impossibility because of space, but the wine selection could be bigger. The staff has always been friendly here, and will help you with anything you need to find. One more thing, your phone may not get any service inside the building, so don't walk in talking on the phone, because your call may get dropped.”
