“Pooped Pooch saved the day. Open on a Sunday afternoon, plenty of parking, the gentleman at the counter was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. I left with a healthier and more nutritious bag of kibble than our regular brand, and our 70lb girl Sophie loves it. Even with a few extra treats added on, my total came out to just around $30. “Abby is the wish come true, made when splitting a wishbone! My little, skittish, sad rescue Frenchie was almost immediately at ease with Abby. She just has a gift for putting these sensitive creatures at ease. Abby can read pups well, is talented with her craft, a great communicator and caring person. I can’t believe our good fortune to have found her.

“This was our first time trying Dog Eat Cake as our local “barkery” closed. It did not disappoint! We drove an hour to pick up Max’s cake and it was totally worth it. The design was fun and unique (not your typical bone shape with minimal details). The cake was airy and moist. Max and his brother Leo loved it. It’s the best dog cake we have ever gotten! Dog Eat Cake will be our go to for both our pups!”

Danielle opened the store early for us so Finn could have the store to himself, we all had an amazing experience! She was incredibly respectful of his space and his disabilities, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!”

Their nails are trimmed and blunted, teeth brushed, bathed and brushed and glands expressed. both of them look lie super stars. “The best pet store! I used to go to loyal companion before they closed and only Pooped Pooch carried the things I wanted. They are extremely helpful and will get you whatever you need. I recently switched stores because I moved (Savin hill to Asmont) and they made sure to have what I used to order in both stores. They also have deals on certain brands of dog food. Toy organization could be better. 10/10!”
“I’m always ready to try new treats for my beloved boxer, Tito. Unfortunately a lot of commercial dog treats are from another country or have ingredients I can’t even pronounce. Not only are 2 Dogs Treats made locally, but there’s only ONE ingredient in all of their treats. And even better, Tito is obsessed! No more looking for the next best treats. I already found them. “As always we had a wonderful experience at the Petco Grooming Salon in Hingham! Emily is Thor’s groomer (our 5 year old Great Pyrenees) and she always does a fantastic & beautiful job with him! Emily has been Thor’s groomer for his whole life! The grooming staff couldn’t be friendlier to us and they all show so much love and kindness towards Thor as well! We love going here and Thor looks forward to his monthly grooming with Emily and the hugs and attention that he receives from the grooming staff! Thank you, ladies for a great experience once again! “This is such a wonderful shelter. First of all, it is clean! There is no smell. Second, the cats roam free in this big room with windows to the outside and transparent walls to the inside. You would expect all the cats to run to the door when you walk in, begging to be brought home. But instead, they were all very content, lounging in their own cat tree beds and looking out the window. You can tell they are well fed, played with, and cared for. My cat that I adopted had to have his own room, but he got a lot of attention from volunteers who hung out and played with him to make sure he wasn't lonely. They sent us home with a bag of his favorite toys and some food. My poor cat spent 2 months in the shelter before we found him, but I'm SO glad it was this shelter, because he was very well-loved.”
“The owner is very good and helpful. The fish are very good. They also have fresh water bait like trout worms and night crawlers for a reasonable price. The store is due for a massive update per the owner soon. The store is open after 2 pm till 6:30 pm.”

“ve this store. Attentive and knowledgeable workers! My favorite Petco location. I live all the way in Roxbury now but still make the drive to Quincy because its so far unmatchable. My only request- PLEASE OWNER, I am handicapped due to brain cancer. Its left me with a diagnosis of chronic hemi-pariesis Im 28 yrs old and do my errands alone, this locations ELEVATOR was such a huge help for me since I started coming to this store in 2021.. I buy so much and having to ask for help to bring my things up the 4 flights of stairs the pasy year has been a little embarrassing and often leaves me not wanting to stroll around the store like I used too, but I miss doing it... Please can we get the elevator repaired for us handicapped folks? I would be very grateful and I bet the workers would too ? Thank you so much!”

“Got a beautiful budgie there. It was worth the 45min drive from Burlington. The birds are well cared for and you can tell the owners treat them with love. They are kept in small groups in spacious cages in a dedicated room, not like the big box stores where there's 20 budgies together and where it's hard to tell if they are healthy. The birds at Pet world looked happy and alert. The store has lots of character with a wide variety of creatures, a really lovely place. Would highly recommend it!”
