“Stumbled in... :) I was driving by and find this little place!!! LOVED it! Reminds me of my hometown. Tons of things to look at. Well priced musical eggs, boars head sandwiches, etc... The ONE thing was that I had this assumption my sandwich would come toasted. It did not .... I imagine they would if you asked but alas I did not ask. Got my Italian dressing and pickle on the side & went on my way. Definitely would come back through here... might stop back in to buy some of the fresh berry breads (or muffins.... Those looked like they SLAP). :) also note but staff was friendly and helpful. Parking lot was DUSTY but what can you expect”

“I usually don't shop at trader Joe's but they had a few holiday things I wanted to pick up in my first visit they surprisingly had the sought after "jingle jangle" on the second trip it was all gone. Both times the store and parking lot were packed people just seem to not be able to get enough of trader Joe's! I will admit their prices are very good and even though the store was packed there was no wait in line. Great for holiday stuff!”

“The most amazing made to order sandwiches, home made soups, and entrées. To be honest, I REALLY go to Ciesluk's for the homemade carrot cake and chocolate cake. I order a sandwich to make it LOOK like I am eating a nutritious meal.”

“Always have wonderful things there. I love going there just for lunch and people watching. However, just recently I ordered a 8 inch two layer birthday cake for my husband. It was beyond good. It was awesome! And the cutest of decorations on top. Finally, I have found a place to order an outstanding birthday cake!”

“Stumbled across this place only minutes after extolling the virtues of Trebor Extra Strong Mints. Fate allowed me to purchase a pack and show their greatness! In all seriousness, great wee shop. Best range I’ve seen in any Irish/British shop in New England. Owner is super helpful and is great craic, chatted away for a good while!I don’t live close but have already made my first online order!”

“Unbeatable farmer's market with EVERYTHING you could possibly need. We were blown away by the quality of the local produce and baked goods, but they sell so much more: flowers, prepared foods, meat and cheese, fish, baked goods, candy, local arts and crafts, wine and beer. We loaded up our car and a week later, are still enjoying some of the freshest corn and melon we have ever eaten. The store is also impeccably clean and well run. The staff is very helpful. We will definitely return next time we are in the area.”

“I love this place - everything I get from the deli is amazingly good... so far... short ribs, chuck beef, pasture raised chicken... Super friendly staff, great local vegetables. Highly recommend!”

“The cashiers are like characters from Portlandia: almost comically snobby and sanctimonious. But I try not to let it ruin the experience of what is otherwise a beautiful store! Wish their seafood selection was as good as the Big Y's (too much farmed fish). If it were, I would shop here much more often!”

“We love our local market! The staff are friendly and helpful and the market is well stocked even though it is small. All fresh foods are great quality and you can find some locally made goods as well. They have tasty meals made in house that we like to get for an elevated lunch.”

“Deals and steals is the best hidden gem of Northampton. They have insanely awesome deals with great options. Also they are generous with community and give to people in need. Love this place and the kind owners.”

“Best. No cap. The folks in the Fish Market are wicked hard workers with a job that requires the standard amount of knowledge, energy and capability for a store like this, and then dou ked over again! All day, hauling ice, working with delicious products that also necessarily require extreme vigilance and hands on manipulation such that the rest of us aren't very interested in doing...and amazingly, even with all of that extra weight across their shoulders, I get a pleasant greeting and welcome smile from each and every person who takes my salmon order. Not a plasticy, forced recitation of some corporate-approved script, a greeting from a person, who then quickly and expertly selects, weighs and packs the good stuff and I know it's not just me, so I suppose I shouldn't have to say it. But service like that really matters and actually makes my day better, encouraging me to pass it forward to the next person I encounter and greet them the same.So Thanks to all the Fish Market personnel and EVERY staff member at Northampton Big Y, your hard and consistant work -even in a period when those traits seem to be disappearing from businesses and their workers- makes Big Y less a choice than an instinct.”

“An excellent recommendation brought me to state street Fruit, Deli, and wine store for lunch. A cornucopia of delicious things. I thoroughly enjoyed a Turkey Smitty with extra avocado; a simple lemon flavoured water, and a walnut brownie.”

“New management, the store is nice , sells everything and prices outbeat the Hatfield country store.Update: over priced. I dread coming here lol they over charge for everything. Can drive 5 minutes away and get better deals. Greed kills business”

“A critical part of our routine shopping. The 5/$1 counter is often full of staples and the irregularity of the stock adds the fun back in the bargain hunt. All organic stuff at prices you won't see anywhere else (for organic. If you're willing to buy standard items, you can get cheaper TP elsewhere, for example.) This is a deep discount bargain food store, so Caveat Emptor applies: check seals, be flexible, and go in with a fixed budget or list, otherwise you'll buy the store.”

“Aldi is a popular supermarket chain that offers high-quality groceries at affordable prices. The Aldi in Amherst, Massachusetts is an excellent example of what makes this chain great. One of the things that stands out about Aldi is their commitment to offering quality products at low prices. They do this by cutting costs in areas like advertising and store layout, which allows them to pass on savings to their customers. The store in Amherst is no exception, and visitors can find a wide variety of fresh produce, meats, dairy products, and packaged goods at prices that are often lower than those at other supermarkets in the area.Another thing that sets Aldi apart from other supermarkets is their store brand products. Aldi carries a large selection of their own brand of products, which are often cheaper than comparable name-brand products. Despite their lower prices, Aldi's store brand products are generally of high quality and taste great. The location in Amherst is also clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. The store is designed with efficiency in mind, which means that shoppers can quickly find what they need without having to spend hours wandering up and down the aisles.Overall, Aldi in Amherst is an excellent choice for anyone looking for high-quality groceries at affordable prices. The store's commitment to quality, low prices, and efficient shopping makes it a great option for anyone looking to save money on their grocery bills.”

“Cooper’s Corner deli and kitchen department did an outstanding job of catering my event (a memorial at the Bombyx Center). All twelve platters of various foods and homemade desserts were artistically arranged, appetizing, and delicious. I got rave reviews from my guests. The finger sandwiches on mini brioches, Caprese tomato bites, and chocolate-covered strawberries were particularly big hits! A warm thank you to Diane, Cooper’s catering manager, for being so helpful and professional from start to finish!”

“Visited with relative to purchase holiday snack food and beer. There's no beer here, because MA. I'm more familiar with the Ahold store Giant, in the DC area. This store is somewhat spartan in comparison, but still has all the same products.”

“Love this store! Kathy is so invested in the community. We don't see half the stuff she does, from supporting equity in the arts to local farms- it's evident the store has been a labor of love from the moment she took over. Looking forward to seeing where she takes it next!”

“This smaller WalMart is good however the one I like better is the one in Chicopee Ma. It's a longer drive however worth it as it has a lot more products to offer. Wish we had one in Greenfield but that I don't understand why the city opposes having one.”

“We do our regular shopping here as well as drop in several times a week. Their produce is very good. I find their website is much easier to use than Big Y. Meat selection is much smaller than before and not even sure if there are meat cutters here anymore, but still prefer over Big Y.”
