“We love our local market! The staff are friendly and helpful and the market is well stocked even though it is small. All fresh foods are great quality and you can find some locally made goods as well. They have tasty meals made in house that we like to get for an elevated lunch.”

“I had ordered online as a gift for someone. It arrived quickly, well-packaged, and great customer service -- checking on the weather and helping make sure everything didn't melt. Thank you!”

“River Valley Co-op is a great, community-based, sustainability-conscious market. I've been looking for a waste-minimizing, plastic-neutral, locally sourced place to shop for household essentials. There's an extensive selection of organic produce, bulk products, zero Styrofoam butcher counter, non-dairy foods, holistic health vitamins and supplements, fun gadget gifts....and more. Plus, a welcoming atmosphere, helpful employees always have a smile; just good vibes all around.Update: still a great place!”

“I love this store. It has that old fashioned store feel and the meats are the best in town. The employees are super friendly and they treat their customers like family and the Puza's are all great people.. I recommend going to Pure Foods than to the larger stores for meats and veggies. At Pure Foods we're all family.”

“The most amazing made to order sandwiches, home made soups, and entrées. To be honest, I REALLY go to Ciesluk's for the homemade carrot cake and chocolate cake. I order a sandwich to make it LOOK like I am eating a nutritious meal.”

“Stumbled in... :) I was driving by and find this little place!!! LOVED it! Reminds me of my hometown. Tons of things to look at. Well priced musical eggs, boars head sandwiches, etc... The ONE thing was that I had this assumption my sandwich would come toasted. It did not .... I imagine they would if you asked but alas I did not ask. Got my Italian dressing and pickle on the side & went on my way. Definitely would come back through here... might stop back in to buy some of the fresh berry breads (or muffins.... Those looked like they SLAP). :) also note but staff was friendly and helpful. Parking lot was DUSTY but what can you expect”

“An excellent recommendation brought me to state street Fruit, Deli, and wine store for lunch. A cornucopia of delicious things. I thoroughly enjoyed a Turkey Smitty with extra avocado; a simple lemon flavoured water, and a walnut brownie.”

“I get everything I can here. Deals are real, but check the expiration. Usually it's fine but some sections are heavily discounted for a reason. This is the place for boots and shoes as well! Always a surprise at what I'll find.”

“Fantastic for high-quality groceries and specialty items. I don't live close by, but the Northampton location is near the highway, so I will keep finding ways to come back until I find a fully vegan grocery source.Note: If you have a pet with you or other reason to need well-shaded parking, the Easthampton location is better, as they have photovoltaic parking shades, and the Northampton location only has sanctimonious signs saying you can't bring your pet inside and also that you shouldn't leave them in the car, but offering no actual help to people traveling with pets for keeping them safe and comfortable while they are in the store.”

“Cooper’s Corner deli and kitchen department did an outstanding job of catering my event (a memorial at the Bombyx Center). All twelve platters of various foods and homemade desserts were artistically arranged, appetizing, and delicious. I got rave reviews from my guests. The finger sandwiches on mini brioches, Caprese tomato bites, and chocolate-covered strawberries were particularly big hits! A warm thank you to Diane, Cooper’s catering manager, for being so helpful and professional from start to finish!”

“New management, the store is nice , sells everything and prices outbeat the Hatfield country store.Update: over priced. I dread coming here lol they over charge for everything. Can drive 5 minutes away and get better deals. Greed kills business”

“Always satisfied but sometimes a little pricey. Was a little disappointed today, I was looking for tricolor rotini and the pasta section was very sparse with a lot of empty shelves and no rotini (tricolored) anyways. Was much better tonight, the shelves were really well stocked and they seemed to have more help.I have to stick with the 5 ?, they're doing a much better job ? ?. Still staying at 5 stars, I know they're struggling with hiring enough help, just like everywhere today. When I was a high school student I would have killed for a job at Big Y, I guess it's a sign of the times. They're adapting, they added more self checkout registers and enlarged the space they're located in. They also seem to have more help than in recent months. Still doing well, had a very good fresh grinder tonight ? Keeping up the great work ?”

“Nice store, food service had a lot of fresh product available. We spilled something on the way out and I went to let an employee know, and when I told the Employee Service Rep about it, he looked at me like I was crazy for telling him. Bad energy, I feel sorry for employees looking to seek help from him. Otherwise great experience, front end staff and store director thumbs up!”

“This smaller WalMart is good however the one I like better is the one in Chicopee Ma. It's a longer drive however worth it as it has a lot more products to offer. Wish we had one in Greenfield but that I don't understand why the city opposes having one.”
