“Pretty good store. It’s on the older side but clean and fairly neat. Grocery and frozen were good. Dairy department looked great . I didn’t buy anything in produce because most of the products looked rough. Customer service was excellent. Overall a good place to shop.”
“Love johnny Ds, especially in a pinch. Fresh quality produce in a community atmosphere. Going into this place feels like time warping back to an older Boston. Johnny is always attentive, empathic and friendly, as are his employees. Fun music is always being played. I wish they carried more Organic produce.”
“I LOVE Trader Joe's, I just wish we could shop here more often. I have a number of favorite RTE Meals or food, like the Chicken Tikka Misala, Paneer Tikka Misala, Paneer with Spinach, Orange Chicken, Soup Dumplings... and SO MUCH MORE I'd like to try! I am also so tempted to get their totes and insulated bags. ?”
“I’m very picky! I recommend this place to friends in the area. He grills it perfectly in front of you. Not dry or overly oily- very tasty! Also there’s these cookies that come from local vender who serves organic -few ingredients grab some of those too. Super yummy food and local treats with short ingredients along with saffron ice cream and other interesting items. Sam the owner is super kind! Thank you I’m sad I’m not longer near this place- enjoy:)”
“My favorite 'go-to' place for good eats and treats. Plant options for sandwiches, groceries, liquor, and horticulture needs. It's a unique foodie experience.”
“Got a steak bomb and a container of spearmint leaves candy. Candy was surprisingly fresh. Even though it was just candy it was probably some of the best I've had. Sub was great all around. No complaints at all”
“Everyone working there is always happy and friendly. Ask any one of them a question and you're going to get an answer. It's the only grocery store I go to that you feel happy when you're there.”
“Charming and quirky shop filled with all things mushroom! From fresh mushrooms and unique mushroom-themed accessories to a variety of teas, it’s a delightful spot that’s definitely worth a visit!”
“Found this cute place recently. Great spot for kimchi or other tricky items to find in other nearby shops. Recommend stopping by to check it out. The owners are locals and seem lovely.”
“There is another Trader Joe's located quite a bit closer to me, but I often choose to go to this one. This one is less crowded, with a far better parking situation, well worth the drive. Clean and bright store, helpful employees, and, as at every Trader Joe's, delicious food choices with rotating seasonal offerings.”
“The employees are always nice and helpful and obviously hard working as this place is always well-stocked and squeaky clean. No sign of rats or mice in Seaport is an impressive feat!”
“I like TJs a great deal, and this one is convenient to me. The parking isn't stellar but I usually find a space fairly quickly. This is not one of the locations with alcohol but they have most other expected products.”
“Just moved from the north end and while they don't have everything you'd want from a neighborhood grocer (more snacks than necessities) they have a good selection at far better prices than the Golden Goose. Very happy to have them around the corner.”
“This market offers a delightful immersion in Greek cuisine and culture. Its signature selection of fresh yogurt, feta and olives is impressive. In addition, there are homestyle prepared foods such as moussaka, pastichio and stuffed peppers. Mini-departments within the shop showcase soaps and shampoos, jewelry and cards, baked goods, frozen foods, oils and vinegars, dried pasta and fresh breads. Well worth a visit! ??”
“Outstanding customer service. I needed help to look for an item - an associate stoped what he was working on to help look for that and check the system for inventory. Unfortunately the item has been out of stock. He also gave me a target restock date and that was additionally helpful!”
“Love, love, LOOVE it here!! It's always so clean, fresh, well kept, and so much to choose from! Although the wait in line is a bit long, I've never waited more than 15ish minutes in line. The staff are nice but I would just suggest to keep the bags they give you if you get the plastic reusable ones, because you get charged for every new plastic bag you buy.”
“A great convenient location for city dwellers and tourists right in heart of it all. It is immaculate and despite how long the line gets, it moves so quickly with plenty of cashiers & self checkout stations. Staff is friendly, products plentiful & stocked and prices are Fab! Can't ask for anything more!”

Grocery Stores
“I Love Wegmans it is the Best ! It is the only Grocery store I want to shop but it is almost 200 miles from my home. I do make a point of shopping whenever I go to Boston.”
“Elia's has been a Wilmington staple for many years, and although I've only started going in the past 10 years of my life, I wish I had started going sooner.
Where else in Wilmington can you get groceries, deli and grill-able meats, and liquor all in one store?
As it's local, the prices can be a little less than desirable, but just for convenience sake alone it's worth it, not to mention supporting small, local business.
Personal favorites are the marinated meats (either from the counter, or over in the fridge pre packed) especially the steak tips, however their chicken salad is a sleeper hit, and I haven't tried one of their other salads that have disappointed thus far (the red bliss dill potato salad is amazing).”
“A small supermarket!
Everything is complete, but not many items.
But in terms of flowers, they are quite complete. The only drawback is that no one does the packaging service.”
“Great Persian store! I highly recommend this store if you're looking for authentic Iranian cuisine and grocery! The picture is with a precooked can of Gheyme and their smoked rice which was delicious!”
“Great market for Asian and exotic foods, amazing seafood and fish selection, fresh and high quality. Great selection of mushrooms, ramen, Korean foods including snacks, Japanese snacks and so much more. Spices galore! In the frozen section: all sorts of dumplings, shumai, soup dumplings, pot stickers, etc.”
“Mountain Valley Spring water, Gerolseiner sparking, Saratoga, Eggs, Ezekiel bread, Chobani plain Greek yogurt, fruits, veggies and some meat! Good selection to choose from. I bet there some good ones I didnt bat my eyes to yet.”
“The area is great. I visited Poppa B's to get food. I ordered a catfish plate, it was awesome. Everything I have tried have tasted great. I enjoy that Restaurant. The prices are good too.”
“I live in the area. I probably come to this location 4-5 times per week. Their bananas and potatoes are super cheap. They also have really good orange juice. Their bananas are $0.23 . Doesn't get cheaper than that. They also have great granny smith apples. Like weirdly good. Better than star market. I always buy my granny smith apples from this store. They always have a good selection of them. I also love their russett potatoes. Staff is super friendly. Kind of a staple for the local scene.”
“A beautiful makeover of the beloved but tired original store. Now bright, spacious well-stocked aisles. A larger fresh produce section and inviting deli and prepared foods. Same long hours, a great evolution of a Waban mainstay.”
“Always a great experience. Does get li da crowded but the have the best subs and burgers around if you like, also there are many other lunch and dinner options.....the store is pretty big and clean....they have the best prices on most products.....5 stars”
“My favorite place to shop for fresh produce! And between the salad bar and the hot bar, they always have great selections. Store is neat and clean, staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.”
“The isles are cramped, the parking lot is busy and the customers and plentiful, but Market Basket delivers every time and the Somerville Ave location is no different. The shelves are stocked high and the prices are low. There is a large and varied selection of everyday and speciality goods at this location, including staple ingredients for Thai, Chinese, Mexican and other varied cuisines. The produce is always solid and they stock such a wide variety of products that for speciality ingredients, I typically check Market Basket first.
There is no self checkout and the friendly cashiers and baggers will assist in paying for your groceries. I recommend coming early in the morning or later at night for a less busy shopping experience. Favorite grocery store.
Thanks!”
“Yay, local honey at better prices than Whole Foods! Go eat some for your allergies lol.
There is an impressive selection of foodie type snacks and appetizers.”
