“I appreciate the self-ship kiosk inside so I don't have to wait in line. I typically ship eBay packages and all I need is the QR code for the shipping label. The kiosk is quick and easy, and prints the label. Then I put the package in a large bin. There are other shipping options on the kiosk, not only QR code. Try it. Friendly staff.”

“The Post Office at 1179 Main St in Wakefield is honestly a little hidden gem. It’s only ever really busy a couple of weeks before and after Christmas, which makes most visits quick and easy. One of the regular staff members, a woman who works there often, is extremely friendly and does her job very well—always professional and efficient. I can confidently leave prepaid packages without worrying about needing a receipt or whether they’ll get scanned properly. I almost hate to leave this review because I don’t want word to get out and have this place overrun with humans, but credit is due where it’s earned. Great service and a stress-free experience every time.”

“This particular branch in Saugus MA has very difficult parking out front on a very busy thin street. There is parking behind the building, but you have to drive around, which is not a big deal. The staff are very friendly but it is busy and a line can form that will take you quite some time to get to the window. I use this post office if I’m in the area out of convenience. If I have to make a special trip, there are other quicker post offices around just as close.”

“I needed to send some books media rate, but I haven’t sent packages through USPS in a while and was unfamiliar and unsure about the process. The woman behind the counter was incredibly patient and helped me out in correctly addressing my package and finding a way to print my pre-paid label (FYI, no printer here but if you have a QR code from Click-N-Ship they can scan it and print the label themselves). They were also managing the line efficiently on a Friday afternoon close to closing and kept everything moving. All the packages I sent arrived in one piece. This is hands down the best experience I have ever had at any USPS location. Editing to add: I came again to mail another package, and the same fantastic person helped me find the most affordable shipping option and was patient while I figured out my shipping address. I had tried to mail this same thing at FedEx the day before but couldn’t because I didn’t have my ID on me— so glad, because this was $5 cheaper for a faster and more convenient experience. I love this post office.”

There is rarely a line and if there is, there are 2 associates helping up front. The attitude of the staff is positive, kind, but also professional and helpful. All the staff I have interacted with are kind, but Alicia especially has been amazing. I have a somewhat complex and time consuming transaction and she doesn’t skip a beat with it. She embodies what every employee should strive for and I would go out of my way to visit this location as unfortunately I have not had this same experience at all locations, it varies wildly. 5 shining stars to Alicia and this location!”

(Now I know to go before 1PM) Arlington is lucky to have two post offices within a mile 1/2 of each other, though, so if I don't have time to come back to this small Post Office, I can go to the main one.”
