“We have another new business in Albion, Ace Hardware. I took my friend there to buy a new furnace filter. There was handicap parking right in front of the entrance, and more than one. Soon as we were inside the door we were greeted with a big smile and can I help you find anything? He happily walked us right to them. He didn't stay and linger over us while we were deciding. He said just let me know if you need any help. That's just the way I like to shop. On my own, we weren't there to stick a few furnace filters up our shirts.
The store was clean. Shelves were stocked neatly to capacity. We were surprised at the wide variety of the paint dept. They also had the booklets to take home with the color samples in it. While we were looking at some gardening supplies, the salesman came over to inform us that there was a tornado waning for Albion and he would be happy to check us out quickly and be able to get home before the weather got bad. He was calm and so very concerned for us. That's exactly what we did. That's the most I've been impressed by an employee at a retail store in many years ! I will recommend this store many times. It's obvious they know how to employ

“Today we went to Irvin’s to purchase a new Bradley mower. The owner stayed after closing time on a Saturday as we were coming from over an hour away. Him and Andy were so wonderful. We never felt rushed and really got the small town “homey” treatment. We are so thankful to have come across this place and will be sure to return for any and all mower needs. They even gave us a hat and recommended the best restaurant across the street for lunch before we headed home. Thank you so much for your amazing customer service!”
