The item we came for was out of stock on the shelf, and she was able to locate it for us. We left with what we came for, and also with appreciation for taking the time out help us. βStopped at ALDI specifically to pick up lentils and was genuinely pleased with the overall variety available. While they didnβt have red lentils in stock this time, there were several other types of lentils along with a solid selection of beans and other pantry staples. It was easy to find alternatives, which made the trip worthwhile.
The store is clean, bright, and very well organized. The aisles are simple to navigate, and everything feels straightforward without being overwhelming. I also appreciate how affordable the prices are β itβs one of those places where you can shop mindfully and stay within budget.
The produce section looked fresh, and the middle aisle always has interesting seasonal or household finds, which makes each visit a little different. Checkout was quick and efficient, and the overall experience felt smooth and convenient.
Even though they didnβt have exactly what I came for, I still left satisfied and with everything else I needed. A dependable stop for everyday essentials at great prices.β
βI like this Aldi's more so than the one in Woodhaven because it has a better food selection. I live in the Brownstown/Flat Rock area, but I will drive to this location from now on.β
βThis place is a nice little gem in the area. Staff are kind and they hold a lot of variety. Some items you might find here are a little more expensive, but then other items are cheaper. Definitely a place I'd like to keep around.β

βClean place, went for one item, only two choices. But, found a few other items in the store to pick up. Didn't buy meats this trip, but looked good and counter was busy.β
βI live in the neighborhood and have been going to this store for years. They always have what I need. The new owner is friendly and making efforts to bring new things into the store. Pizza, hot food section, and rotisserie chicken! I always buy more than I come for!β
βWe go here frequently. They're clean, prices are hard to beat, shelves are well stocked with the healthy items we need for much cheaper than the bigger chain stores, they also get in new items to try and staff is always friendly.β
βAldi is a cash saver with good product some may be under an unknown brand name but the purchaser for the stores take care in purchasing products for thay are sensible, reliable, taste good and are affordable.β

βUsually my go to spot to get a lot of my groceries they have a lot of great items you canβt get anywhere else. Sometimes the produce can be off depending on which day you go. Prices have went way up here as other places have too. Check out is usually quick depending on how busy and the staff is very helpful and nice.β
βLast night I got some great walnuts from Thamarat Grocery Store in Dearborn Michigan. I love to include these in a balanced diet high in healthy fats and protein for my body building adventures. The store was beautiful and full of various different spices, candies, nuts, and perfumes. Thank you for making my evening so special I love you guys so much!β

βFirst time ever in an Aldi. It's my new favorite place! I felt like I won the sweepstakes! Everything is super cheap! All around great experience. The few (very busy) employees I saw were friendly and willing to help. Even the customers were courteous and good natured. It's hard to stay outta people's way, so it's understood as shared space but it works. There is a 25 cent deposit for a shopping cart which I really like, because you NEVER have to worry about one hitting your car. I believe there is also a nominal fee for shopping bags. That's completely cool with me too! Cuts down on waste and is much more environmentally friendly. I liked everything about the place.β
βDearborn Foods: this small business in Dearborn, Michigan has price is better than Walmart and some dollar stores and I highly encourage you to shop here to receive the love of Allah/God Most Glorified Most Exalted. ????????????β

βWe shop here every week. Since the remodel the quality of the produce has gone down and the selections have shrunk. We will still shop here because the prices are good and the staff is great!β
βIf you need a hard to almost impossible item or ingredient for your authentic Mexican dish, then you need to head to Algo Especial. This is a store that I have visited with my mom for those family recipes that needed that Especial ingredients and we could only find them here. Their tamales are the best in all southwest Detroit.β

βMan, this is the best Mexican food I've ever had. They give you such a big quantity for the price they give, AND its higher quality than majority of other mexican resturants. I live in metrodetroit, and those places would charge me 17 or 18 dollars with the amount of food they give me compared to them charging 10-13 dollars here. Highly recommend of the beef tongue burritoβ
βThis place has changed it has no smell, it's clean meat prices are ok but the price of eggs is ridiculous 7 or higher for a dozen eggs is ridiculous when Sams club has 24 for 5.28. Overall I will continue to shop there.β
βDecent market for whatever you need. Not the cheapest but far better than the dollar stores. Mostly it's convenient for folks living at Merriman and Van Born.β

βMostly happy with service. Groceries are competitive, however some can and are bought at the big box because of size and better price. Non perishable. Imo the meat is better then most. Even as good as a local butcher, but better price. Will continue shopping here for most items.β
βI come here often and I don't think anyone has cheaper prices on halal steaks and ground beef they are good people that run it and staff are good and fast if you haven't been here you should try it out you won't be disappointed.β

βVisited this location for the first time and I just have to say, itβs one of the best experiences Iβve had in a supermarket. The employees are all so respectful and helpful.
The location itself is very nice with ample parking space. You can tell it was just renovated. The owners are the most humble and helpful people Iβve met. Had a chance to speak with Sean and he is someone that wonβt stop until youβre satisfied.
I highly recommend coming here whether itβs close by or not. They have everything you need and more, a true one stop shop. Hope everyone has the same experience Iβve had and I pray they continue to succeed!β

βI really enjoy shopping at Meijer because it feels like a store where you can find almost everything in one place.
One of my favorite sections is the fresh produce area. The fruits and vegetables always look fresh and well organized, and there is usually a good variety to choose from. It makes grocery shopping feel pleasant instead of rushed.
The bakery is also wonderful. They offer delicious baked goods, and what I especially like is that you can custom order cakes for birthdays or special occasions. That makes it very convenient when youβre planning a celebration.
Another thing I appreciate is the huge variety of products throughout the store. You can find sections for,baby items,clothing for men, women, and kids,household goods,groceries and everyday essentials.
Itβs honestly a very large store, so you can often complete all your shopping in one visit.
I also noticed thoughtful features like a recycling section and even ice freezers, which show that the store tries to provide practical services for customers.
Overall, Meijer feels like a well-organized, convenient, and family-friendly place to shop, especially when you need a wide range of products in one location.β
