“Steve was the best mechanic. I was here on a military assignment and he took my car in super fast not only changed my break pads and rotors but topped off my tires and checked my oil. His attitude and demeanor were amazing and made me feel like family. Super blessed to have went straight to him with my issues. Not to mention EXTREMELY FAIR PRICING. He really took care of me. “Let me start by saying I live in upstate New York and was looking for tires for my mom's vehicle. My siblings and I wanted to pay for them and surprise her and so I needed to coordinate everything between my mom and Alpena Car Care.
I spoke with Larry and he was EXCELLENT!!!! It was a wonderful experience and Larry took care of it all!! He actually went above and beyond and even gave my mom a hug after folding the bill and giving it to her and letting her know her bill was paid by her kids.

“It takes some pretty exceptional service for me to go out of my way and put a review up. I just have to say, Marc and Rick in the service department were beyond my expectations of helpful this afternoon. Nobody wants to spend outrageous amounts of money on tires and they saved me $300! On top of that, I was of no inconvenience to them after calling twice and stopping in there to be sure that my price matched tires were the accurate ones before placing an order. I am beyond impressed.”
“Thanksgiving Day 2025, my fuel line cracked. All auto parts stores were closed for the holidays. Called Brett and he hooked me up with some fuel line to get me back up and running.”
“I realize that this is a small incident in the big scheme of things, but I feel compelled to write a review. I was 200 miles from home when my 2095 Mercury Mariner's warning system told me that my left rear brake and turn signal wasn't working. I drove into Dean Arbour Ford, which was directly across the street from our hotel, fully expecting to wait for service. I spoke to the service manager who had me drive into the shop, personally verified that the bulb was indeed burned out, called over a technician who replaced the bulb immediately. He then escorted me to the cashier, where he told me he was only charging me for the bulb and nothing for installation. I was in and out in 10 minutes and, most impressively was treated as a valued customer who had just purchased a high end car. What a delightful experience.”

“This place always does me right and the environment is wonderful from the minute I walk in! Trevor is wonderfully kind and personable + explains anything I don’t understand. It may be a little over the price-point at sometimes, but it’s worth it for the care they put into the vehicle. I’d rather go here and pay $20-40 more than go somewhere that doesn’t actually care.

“I work in retail so I judge tough on my reviews. I had a tire issue on my way home to Alpena. I pulled into Walmart Alpena at 6:30 on Sunday when they close at 7. I ended up just needing a patch on my tire but the staff didnt blink an eye. Had me out before the shop closed and actually saved me over the stress of a large snow storm coming.
