“Uptown is SUCH an amazing place to live! Between the pool, community events, wonderful neighbors, great location, and all the things to do, there’s so much to love. But honestly, one of the best parts has been getting to know the incredible office staff, Tamara and Tyler.

I still remember coming to tour the apartments with my mom in the winter. From the minute we walked in, Tyler was so welcoming and kind. He made me a hot chocolate from the coffee machine and even gave me a bag of chips. That small gesture immediately made the community feel warm and welcoming. Now that I live here, he’s just as friendly whenever I bring friends by the clubhouse. He always takes the time to chat with us and makes everyone feel welcome.

The clubhouse itself is always incredibly clean, well-kept, and welcoming. There are always complimentary snacks, drinks, and coffee available, which is such a nice touch. The pool and other community spaces are also really well maintained. My friends always comment on how nice everything is and how sweet the office staff are when they leave, and I completely agree!

Another huge reason I love Uptown is Tamara. I bring my puppy down to the clubhouse almost every day to visit, and it has genuinely become one of the best parts of our routine. Tamara is wonderful with him and always makes him feel so loved. He even knows her by name! Whenever I ask if he wants to go see Tamara, he gets excited and runs to the door.

Beyond how sweet she is with my pup, Tamara is incredibly kind and always makes time to chat with me. She has made both my mom and me feel so welcomed here. Both she and Tyler genuinely care about the residents and are always willing to help.

It’s the little things and the way people treat you that make somewhere truly feel like home, and Tamara and Tyler are a huge part of what makes Uptown such a wonderful place to live. I’m so grateful to have found such a welcoming community!”

“Older townhouses, a few 1 bdrm 1-floor units. I've lived here over 20 years. Most of the people I know here are good humans and help each other when someone needs it. I have enjoyed living here.”

“I have loved living here! The apartments are updated and are in a great location. The bus route takes you right up to UM, and the bus comes about every 15 minutes, so you don’t need to worry about parking. Never had to worry about parking at the apartment complex either. The community is always clean and quiet, and any maintenance requests are fixed ASAP. Any time I need something fixed, it is done in less than 24 hours! The Ponds backs up to a nice neighborhood that is great to walk in too. There are events hosted at the clubhouse and the pool is open in the summer time.

The folks in the office as also so great to work with. They helped my roommate and I out with some difficulties with our lease, and they took it upon themselves to contact the property management to advocate for us. It made the process for us so smooth!

Overall, this place has been an excellent place to live, and I would recommend it to anyone!”

“The haven of Ann Arbor is a great accessible place to live. Only 30 minutes to Detroit with ample parking I could not have asked for a better location. The staff goes above and beyond for their tenants and won’t stop until their residents are happy. Shout out to Christian at the haven for looking for an incorrectly delivered package. Thank you to the team. Their maintenance team is also very quick to requests. If you are looking for space with amenities look no further.”

“Jessica & Andre spent a lot of time showing us around Foundry Lofts. They both went above and beyond what other managers did at previous showings at other Ann Arbor MI apartments. The apartments were clean, amenities amazing, nice furniture, studio was spacious and floor plan the best we have viewed. Because of the attention given to us by Jessica & Andre along with the amazing studio and amenities my son just signed a lease starting fall 2026 and if staying for his PHD he is sure that he will be staying long term at Foundry Lofts :)”

“Having stayed at Spice Tree for two years, I can confidently recommend it. The apartment layout is spacious and well-maintained. If anything ever broke, the maintenance team was there to fix it the same day. The best part was the move-out experience; unlike other places, Spice Tree is fair and professional. I received my full deposit back without any issues. Excellent management and a solid place to live.”

“Living at Ann Arbor Woods has been a great experience so far. Justin, one of the leasing managers, is incredibly helpful, compassionate, and responsive. The entire leasing office team is always eager to assist and was very thorough in helping me get settled in. My apartment was exactly as described; renovated, clean, and ready for move-in. Maintenance requests are handled in a timely manner, and the community is generally very peaceful and comfortable. The location is also very convenient, especially for getting to campus, with easy access to the 4 and 64 bus lines. Free parking is available for all units, and the apartments have both air conditioning and heating. Overall, I’ve been very happy with my experience at Ann Arbor Woods and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and well-managed place to live!”

“I’ve lived at Courtyard Apartments for two years, and it’s been great. The staff is awesome — Kal and Dylan in the leasing office are always super helpful, and maintenance is fast and reliable. The community events are actually fun, they had a cool Lego one and also bring in emotional support dogs around exam days.

The location being right next to the North Campus Rec Building gave me no excuse to use it, and it is across from the Bursley-Baits bus stop, so it wasn't hard not having a car.”

“I had an incredible experience touring this property! The community itself is absolutely stunning—modern, clean, and extremely well-maintained. The entire staff was so welcoming and helpful throughout the visit, but Vi especially stood out. Vi was so knowledgeable, friendly, and patient, taking the time to answer all of my questions and making the tour an absolute breeze. If you're looking for a great place with top-tier service, I can't recommend this place and their team enough!”

“Overall, this is a great place to live. My daughter has a nice apartment and there have been any maintenance issues, they were quickly remedied. That said, these apartments are flipped quickly so I would suggest renting your own carpet cleaner as well as giving everything a quick wipe down before you unpack.

Honestly the only reason for four stars is the fact that literally every time I have ever visited my daughter, the fire panel is beeping. That is indicative of an issue and needs to be resolved. I don't know why this is not a major concern for the property owners as this constant beeping means something is broken and needs to be fixed.

Lastly, for the price, I would expect the carpet in the hallway would be replaced and then cleaned on a regular schedule. I think employing a couple of full time housekeepers would go a long way.”

“I had a very positive experience working with BriarCove Apartments. Susanna and Darryelle in the leasing office delivered a high level of customer service throughout the leasing and move-in process. They were especially helpful as we worked through some time-sensitive needs on the day of our move-in. Their communication and willingness to problem-solve made what could have been a stressful transition feel much more manageable.
