“Best pharmacy I’ve ever been to, hands down. I was just using CVS because that’s what my family had done for forever. Didn’t think about it. Then, my doctor recommended this place. Been using them as my primary pharmacy for years now and will never switch again
First of all, the people are so nice!! Every interaction, in person or on the phone, has been pleasant and easy. And they are always so helpful in resolving my ridiculous issues. Some of those resolutions are literally baked into their system too. For example, I LOVE their app. The big brand apps are so complicated and about the shopping experience more than the pharmacy.
Their app feels like it was built for folks with severe ADHD, anthropophobia and agoraphobia lol. Hi. I can’t remember what I had for breakfast, let alone to fill prescriptions on time. But I go on the app, it has a neat list with all my meds, when I last filled them, and organizes them according to when I WILL need to fill them.
And it tells me exactly when the first day I can get refills are. It’s hard to describe how helpful this is for me 😅 but being able to quickly see and select everything that way, ask for all the refills together through the app, and get them all HAND DELIVERED TO MY HOUSE, before I even run out???
These people, this pharmacy, have really helped me so much. I’m working on my issues of course, but for the days when I really can’t leave my house, when my brain is frantically buzzing with everything I’m trying to remember, when my body physically hurts too much to drive, these services they offer are truly invaluable.
Before them, I would regularly go weeks without meds I really needed. My issues would compound as a result, and it would become even harder to get them. It was a mess.
Now, I’m healing, I’m figuring myself out, and I’m doing it without nearly the same stress of making sure I’m medicated enough to function.
I still have to remember to go on the app lmao but I worked out one single, simple system for that. Which is so much easier than the 50,000 I had prior
Long story short, this is the best pharmacy ever. My only complaint is parking when I do rarely have to go in 🤣 don’t go during Trader Joe’s busy hours”
“As a whole , this pharmacy is great. I have used them since 2005 for my compounding needs. In recent few years, there is 1 particular person ( Tamara) who seems as if she is 100 inconvenienced by talking to you. I let it go quite a bit, because we all have bad days. I work in customer service, so I get it. I have talked and worked with Nathan and Mona, FANTASTIC folks. Tamara makes it very uncomfortable to ask clarifying questions, not a fan. I pay OOP for everything I get, so this is really not acceptable. I hope this makes it in the right hands and that some changes are made. I know working with the public is exhausting, but when you are that crabby, its time to move on.”

“They ordered my meds, a 3 month supply, it was supposed to be there at 11 am. At 5:30, when they closed, still no delivery!! They usually always have my meds. Good quality generic. I'm frustrated with their delivery service!!”

“I can only comment on parking and the area as I just picked up a friend from there. You will need to park in structure or meters downtown Ann Arbor. My friend really likes their doctor there I will say. Nothing but positive comments from them. I wish I went here to Community Mental Health for my mental health needs as I've had terrible luck w where I go and 5 different Psychiatrists now come August 14th, 2025 at my location.”

“Generally a good experience. The pharmacists doing vaccines are fantastic and really seem to care about preventative health.
And there is a ton of stuff behind the counter that is better priced than elsewhere (see photo)! Pseudoephedrine (the actually effective cold medicine) was literally 75% cheaper than at other pharmacies, last checked.”

“I swear I have wrote this review three times but it keeps disappearing. This is by far the best cvs in the Ann Arbor canton area. I have worked at many of them as a vendor and the employees at this cvs were always very nice and helpful. They still say hi to me years later. The managers are very nice especially Ryan, he makes this a great cvs. The pharmacy people have always been very helpful even though they are swamped with prescriptions. This cvs does not deserve to have this low of a rating. You may have to wait a minute for help but if you find them they are more than willing to help.”

“A++++ The staff at the CVS Pharmacy on S. State Street are always welcoming and helpful, and they go out of their way to make sure you get the best possible service. The store is clean and organized, and the pharmacists are knowledgeable and efficient. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes for my prescriptions, and the prices are fair. The MinuteClinic on the second floor is also a great resource for quick medical care. The store is conveniently located near many other shops and restaurants, so you can easily make a day of it if you need to run errands after picking up your prescription. I HIGHLY recommend this pharmacy!”
“Simon Z. is absolutely the best. I have been picking up high blood pressure medication for my father for a couple of years (previously at Jackson location and now Ann Arbor Saline location) and we have been paying a sizable copay. Today I was picking it up again, Simon looked at the bill and asked me have I always been paying, because the copay for all the other three medications are all zero for my father. I said yes. In the past I have asked why the copay for this one, the answer I got was always you need to ask your insurance company. Simon said it seemed a little weird so he doubled check in the system, turns out the insurance information was not logged in the system (unlike the other medications) and there was only a discount card number. He helped adjusted it, put in the insurance information, and the copay after insurance was indeed zero. The best and most caring pharmacist I have ever had. Wholehearted recommend Simon Z!”

“Shout out to all the pharmacists and staff people keeping this location going. I'm on a monthly medication and despite everything going on they've been able to keep on top of filling it, even when a dosage needed an increase and they needed to communicate with my doctor's office. It's a relief to know that they're there working bravely and diligently to keep people healthy and safe. Drive thru is also a bonus because it keeps contact to a minimum. Excellent all around.”
