X-rays were taken and the vet called with the results later that day and while not the best results the Vet delivered the news with aplomb and care. We’ve come here a couple times and would return.”

When we get another pet, I hope Dr. Morris can take us. ❤️ Content Warning: Discussion of Euthanasia When we made the decision to put my Bella down after nearly 14 years I was understandably devastated, but the compassion Dr. Morris and the rest of the staff showed made a terrible afternoon a little bit easier. The room they provided was private ù quiet with calming white noise. They had some treats you could give her as the time went on. Hershey kisses in a little jar labeled 'goodbye kisses', these small things also made it a little easier. I felt like we were the focus of the staff at the time (although I am sure they continued the business as normal) it made me feel supported and taken care of. The entire staff is angels, I could of not asked for a better team or facility for that moment. I'm glad it happened there, I'm sure Bella is grateful too. Thank you so very much to Dr. Morris, Jen and the rest of the team.”

“I have had nothing but good experiences with Gasow and I am happy to consider them my main vet that I continue to go to. I have brought my cats here for aid for different reasons and they have always done their best to help me and work within my limited budget. Vets are not cheap, but they do understand financial struggles and will do what they can to help you. They truly do care for your pets. I unfortunately had to let my baby Moon go at the end of May this year and I went to Gasow, with a visit not planned for that, and they took very good care of me and my baby Moon. it was a difficult situation where when I brought him in knowing what was going to happen but I didn't want to believe it. It was the most difficult decision I ever had to make, but the doctor assured me that it would be an ethical treatment for my baby. They took very good care of my baby, let me hold my baby the entire time. They let me keep the blanket my baby was in during the procedure, and they informed me thoroughly of everything that was happening before, during, and after the procedure. The experience of helping my baby Moon no longer be in pain was very difficult but much more comfortable than when we went to OVRS to help my eldest cat pass. The rooms alone were a striking difference. Gasow had a very calm and quiet room with sofas and soft lighting, allowing you to be as comfortable as you can be. OVRS was simply just another vet hospital room with harsh lighting and everything uncomfortable. When I first brought my cat to Gasow, I knew that my babies would be taken care of and they have continued to build up confidence that they will truly take care of not just your fur babies, but you as well.”

“I've been using AAVH for our cats since shortly after moving to Troy in 2010. They have always been very thorough, compassionate, and willing to work with us on the treatment of our cats as they enter their senior years. But this week, I was completely astounded by their care for both me and my cat. On my way to visit them for my cat's monthly injection, I was rear-ended about 1/2 block away. My cat managed to escape his carrier, so he was loose and traumatized and didn't even want ME near him. I called, hoping that I could get some gloves or maybe they could come with a sedative. Dr. Birley and two techs arrived with equipment, got him into a new crate, took him back to the office, relaxed him, checked for injuries, and cleaned him up. Sydney even offered to drop him off at the house if I couldn't make it to them by closing. They eased the burden of a terrible experience, and the care they showed both of us still brings tears to my eyes.”

“Compassion, expertise, and communication were the highlights of my experience at OVRS. Every staff member was kind, compassionate, and helpful. The praise and love my cat got from everyone made me feel reassured that he was in good and caring hands for his overnight stays! Each staff member also was great at explaining procedures, options, care needed, transparent about prices, and answering any questions. It made a very difficult process a lot easier and I am so appreciative of all of them. Cost was always within the range of the estimate and felt reasonable considering the level of care my cat needed. Dr. Bula and Dr. Ottnod were both knowledgeable and compassionate, and patient - despite assuredly being busy people, when they were in the room with my cat and I they never seemed rushed or stressed. I also appreciate their extremely knowledgeable techs, who easily answered any additional questions I had, and Dawn, who was always prompt in responding to my voicemails and also very knowledgeable! “Everyone I dealt with at Cat Care was amazing! All three of my cats came to me as strays at different times. Two adjusted well, but Eli, #3, has been a challenge. My regular vet was at a loss and couldn't help me. Although Eli loves me, he has a Jekyll- Hyde personality in addition to other issues. I know some people would choose to euthanize him, but the Cat Care staff understood that I can't give up yet. They were understanding, kind, and gentle to a very terrified, angry cat. They knew just what to do. I am very relieved to know that they will continue to help me help Eli.”

“On Wednesday I made arrangements for my cat to go to the rainbow bridge she was scheduled to go to the rainbow bridge with a different veterinary office and unfortunately that turned into such a nightmare it was unbelievable I got The Donaldson veterinary name and phone number from a friend all I wanted for my animal to was to go out peacefully with a little compassion and some reverence I truly believe I owe that to her got to Dr Donaldson's office as I was battling getting my head and my heart NSYNC with what I had to do when I got the doctors office I was greeted with nothing but kindness love and understanding of how painful this was I chanted with the staff that are beyond compassion which was needed at that time escorted to a small room with a placard that had a candle burning what it had to say was how painful it is for you to lose your friend so they must really understand what you're going through we talked about my fur baby and how the situation would be handled prior to that we had discussed how The cremation would go where I could visit her in the future there was no Stone unturned they went way above and beyond I am so grateful that this was turned into a good experience her exiting of this world was done with lung compassion and kindness understanding unbelievable adjectives I can never use thank you Dr hunhout and your wonderful staff this was a very good experience handled in very wonderful ways again thank you all”
