“Self Serve has expanded it's store footprint and it's a great improvement! Much more product, more space to navigate the store--I'm loving it! The folks that work there are always friendly and willing to help, and last time I was in there, they were even training their employees on new countertop items/techniques---they really do try to train their employees properly. Oh yes, and huge bonus for the area is that they're actually open on Sundays (everywhere else closes on Sundays)!! Thanks for improving and for keeping us DIY folks going on the weekends!”
“I really like the store in Nasty Hatchet (Bad Axe). I’m use to going to stores in major metropolitan areas and they are usually busy and it hard to find sales people to help and often they can be a little grumpy. In Bad Axe the traffic is less and the people on the floor come to you and ask if they can help. What?! Yeah, for real.
When you have a large package they automatically help you load it into your vehicle (pickup). The shelves are well stocked with a complete group of products. I always leave with more than I went for.”

Mary also upbeat, personable and appears proud of the products and willing to order in products not currently stocked. Also seems proud of Ace Hardware itself.
