She IMMEDIATELY stopped that conversation, asked to assist me, and completed the transaction. Thank you! I cannot think of another business I have entered where the employee IMMEDIATELY engaged with me as a customer, walking away from what they were doing, whether a personal chat or doing work to be done when no customers are around. “This is the hardware store you should regularly go to or at least check first. Really, if something seems high priced to you here, go check elsewhere, odds are you'll be back as price is where Menard's excells at. Also a solid selection and variety. Customer service is always on point. Obviously they're in competition with Lowe's and I'm sure some will favor them instead. Not mad at that, I think the edge to Menard's is it's easier to know your way around after a while. Lowe's is cool too, but their more prone to reorganizing stuff on occasion. But note, that's only as a comparison, but then, how else do you judge a place like this? Because if anyone calls it terrible or bad, their saying there's someplace better. Ultimately, just go here and it'll be worth a few trips if you're new to get used to the layout, after that it's all good.”

“We are thinking of moving. Needed to go to Lowes for boxes and supplies. Just wanted to say that the young gentleman named Jim helped me check out. I had lots of boxes and other stuff. He took it all to my truck and put it in the truck for me. Jim is an outstanding Lowe's employee and I thank him!”
