“I've been going to this store for at least 30 years and it it's always been a fun and friendly place with competitive prices . I used to catch the bus to Western every morning and they would show up early just to let us get candy and such before having to ride the bus.. only knock would be it's a really small store and if there is 4 people it's crowded .. other than that it's a great place to be in and out and on your way... Oh and yes they have the best pretzels on the planet so that helps for sure lol .... Mr snackman said don't get it twisted or get your stomach all up in a knot and just pop that American gourmet in your mouth and try not to smile....bet u can't.”

“On Tuesday, July 14 around noon, my retired husband and I were driving south-bound I-75 @ Bay City when our rear tire blew out. We got off the freeway at the closest exit and used a corner of your gas station parking area to change our tire. It was very hot that day (95+) and we were tiring fast as we worked on the tire. Out of nowhere the young man on duty that day appeared by our car and offered his assistance, as well as making sure we were personally ok and offered us cold drinks from the Big Gulp area — making sure we would stay hydrated. His concern and help was greatly appreciated and a real credit to your business.”

“I get my usual large coke slurpee from here every other day after work. It's my reward for a hard day of work.They have good typical snacks, and booze. Not much of a lottery type of person but it's cool that they have it.The staff is nice and they don't try to upsell. I hope I'm not the only one who finds that annoying.”

The store is loaded to the gills with wine , beer and liquor.Twice I have had them special order me whisky and they didn’t even hesitate and ordered it while Im still in the store and now even stock it for me .Can’t ask for anything more out of a alcohol heavy party store . “Stoped to use restroom on our way home to Caseville coming from Grand Rapids. Very well stocked with everything imaginable including souvenirs. Very clean well kept restroom 5-star all the way. Great polite staff. If you are hungry for more than a snack (which the have biggest selection) a Subway is also in the building. Highly recommend for snacks or whatever. They have a walk-in cooler to grab your case. Stop fill-up and shop.”

“2020/21 edit: Still love this little family business with it's great selection of liquor. Staff wear masks, and so do customers for the most part.
I love the staff here and at the 7-11 just across the street, and I frequent both stores since my teenage years because family live nearby. This store I tend to mostly get my adult beverages and chips before meeting up with friends. 7-11 provides my candy and frozen drink fix. It's hard not to compare the two due to the names.”
