“I am a member service representative at Jolt on Euclid. I have been with the company since 2019 and couldn't have asked for a better place to work and bank! My personal experience has been great. Since changing the name to Jolt Credit Union, which allowed us to change our charter, we have made great growth and expect to be around for many more generations to come! Changing the name & charter allowed the financial institution to broaden the field of membership; aka broadening the criteria to open accounts to be more accessible for MORE people from all walks of life and locations!Jolt has great Kasasa products that are free with cash back rewards & more, that literally pays you for being an active member! If you have ever had a negative experience with us, I would first ask if you came inside to handle it directly, or got assistance further before allowing it to leave a bad taste in your mouth? Then I would urge you to remember that we're all human. Maybe the situation wasn't fully understood by either you or the person helping you. If you didn't go in...how could Jolt have fixed it or given better education to you to help guide you into better understanding of the "why it happened thar way"? I say this because so many times, I have worked with an extremely upset or frustrated member and I maintained patience while understanding that their frustration isn't with me, but the situation itself, and most of the time it is just not knowing or understanding the way products or services work. I have found so many ways to help them gain understanding, get to a solution, and move forward from the situation with a better attitude in the end. I take my time to hear them out and I hope anyone who has issues will take their time to come in and try to find solutions before choosing to leave, or bashing not only Jolt, but ANY company.A member told me today "if you don't learn history, you'll repeat it". “Having an account here is great, but I am soooo frustrated that their debit cards don’t have tap to pay and they aren’t compatible with Apple Pay. This is 2023, and not being able to access my card electronically, is making me consider switching to a different CU. Their service is kind and helpful, but I’m not sure that makes up for the technology gap.”
