“This shop is a destination! - and - I'm from Grand Rapids! Unique, seasonal gifts fill the store. We were there just after the Halloween items came on sale. Better than shopping online or in a catalogue. It's an experience just to go in there.”
“I recently (December 2025) purchased a pair of MCM shelving. The third piece of the set includes a desk and sliding door over desk storage that I don't have room for, nor need. The owner, Mike, gave me a great price for the two.
To expedite delivery and for my convenience, I chose to coordinate my own pickup. Mike's been very understanding about my delays (Winter weather and conflicting scheduled events) in picking up these two large, cumbersome pieces of furniture.
This shelving furniture is temporary, and will be replaced by another form of wall mounted shelving over the next few years. I mentioned this to Mike, and he's open to buying back and reselling this shelving in the future. I really appreciate his honesty, and his broad knowledge of MCM furniture and accessories in mid-Michigan. Plus, he's a mellow guy who's interested in selling beautiful, functional wares to people who appreciate MCM design.”
