“After our horror story experience down the road at the Red Roof Inn last time we came up to spend the weekend at St Joes see the reviews they’re comical, we decided to do our homework ahead of time and decided to spend a little extra on a better hotel. Let’s just say this place exceeded our expectations. The parking lot is tidy and spacious, no issue finding somewhere to park. You’re greeted by a beautiful lobby to hangout where friendly staff get you settled and issue your keys in a timely manner. There is an inside and outdoor area to sit, laundry room to wash/dry clothes, a private pool to take a dip and a area where you can utilize a PC to check emails if your traveling and need access to a computer. The elevators are nice, the hallways are clean and the signage is easy to understand in order to find your room.

The room was clean and tidy, smelled natural and not offensive to the nose, air conditioning that can easily freeze you out of the room and doesn’t have that mold smell to it, bathroom polished with toiletries included, and bed sheets clean and free of stains. What more is to be said we would easily book again next time we come up. Not to mention breakfast is included which is a nice touch and great way to start your morning.”

“Very nice location relative to Lake Michigan and other surrounding inland lakes. Room was nice and clean and cold when we walked in, so extremely refreshing. Staff was nice and the hotel was taken care of. Would definitely recommend!

“It's No-Longer the Day's Inn, it's the Quality Inn, anyway the front desk clerk was very helpful, friendly, and did her job with a Smile. Plenty of places to eat at within walking distance, super Walmart across the street, the bed are clean, plush & comfortable, small pillows though, but clean bathroom and towels.I can see myself staying here again the next time I'm traveling this way in the future”

“The rooms were slightly sub par mostly from the mattresses and the smoke alarm was hanging from the ceiling, however, any staff I spoke to, including Troy was very friendly and very helpful.”

“Vacation here is awesome! The rate is amazing, the staff are incredibly kind and helpful, it’s great vibe here. Everyone loves the beautiful pool! It’s a huge hit with the kids. Complimentary breakfast is the talk of the guests. We love it. Our room is beautiful, everything is new and it’s so cozy. The hospitality really adds to the experience here. This is a very family friendly hotel with more amenities than the other options nearby. The rate is superior to the competition and it’s better here because other places in town have bedbugs that can destroy everything — there’s nothing like that here.
Which makes me feel very good about our stay here. The guests are friendly and everyone is very respectful. This is a great location next to Dunkin Donuts and they have Baskin Robins ice cream just next door. You can have almost anything door dashed here. Meijers and Dominos are nearby and everyone is on point ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ this is my first time in a Howard Johnson and I won’t go anywhere else in the future. The pool is really cool because of the design and it’s the place to be. My kid loves it!

“Just what I needed!! A place to rest that's clean and affordable. Very quiet and have everything you need. A mini fridge, microwave and a TV. Would definitely return!Nearby activities: You have all the fast foods located near by with great places to see the fresh waters and parks.”
