“This place was impressive -- clean, neat and organized with an efficient layout and a nice presentation. They appeared to have some of everything and it was very easy to find what I was looking for...so much so that I walked up and down most of the aisles just to see what they carried, ultimately exiting with a couple of breakfast items for myself and my wife as we were staying overnight in town.If I lived in or near Hurley or Ironwood, I'd definitely shop at this place. Recommended !”
“Brite Spot Subs are a favorite in and out of the area! We get one or two every time we are in town! Not to mention they make their own pizza’s and have root beer on tap! Plus you can snag your smokes/ adult beverages/chips etc!!”
“It seems like this place has amped up the vegan selection since some of the older reviews. They had a variety of vegan meats, cheezes, JustEgg, ice cream, even daiya pizzas! Yes, it’s more expensive than what I’d pay in Chicago, but given the location and it being an independent co-op that’s no surprise. Worth the extra bucks to have access to specialty vegan products that I didn’t expect to find out here! Also had a nice N/A beverage fridge! Updated from previous review on 2026-07-05”

“We arrived in town late and didn't feel like going out to eat so I went to Pat's to do some hunting and gathering. The selections are great and fresh. As an out-of-stater I was blown away by the selection in the cheese curd department. It cashier was very friendly too.”

By the way the people who work on the Grocery pick up are all very good at there jobs also. “Today I went to the Bessemer store and the girl that was working there had to deal with a customer about a item she wanted to purchase. Customer said the item was in the clearance aisle but it rang up more than $1. The clerk was very professional as I witnessed the whole event as I was waiting in line. Its sad when you see someone clearly lie to the clerk. Honestly felt sorry for the clerk but she handled it well. I would hire this clerk in a second if I could. DG is very lucky to have her as a clerk there, store is always clean and well stocked, this is my “goto” DG if I need anything. I hope the clerk had a better rest of the day.”
