“Any chance I can get to go to Books A Million? I will in a heartbeat over Barnes & Noble. The unfortunate thing about Books A Million is that they’re so spread apart.”

“Toadvine is, without a doubt, my wife’s and my absolute favorite literary sanctuary. It might not be the biggest shop, but it is absolutely packed to the rafters with a staggering wealth of fantasy novels and vintage treasures.

I could easily spend hours getting lost in its cozy rows, completely losing track of time much like the hours spent immersed in the pages of our favorite worlds. Finding this place feels like discovering a secret, perfectly preserved wing of the Great Library. A truly magical little spot!

Tip: Every single shelf is a treasure trove—you might just find a hidden gem that looks like it was cataloged by Astinus himself.”

“Road Less Traveled Books is awesome! They provide complimentary coffee, tea, water, or hot chocolate while you work on the community puzzle, which is my favorite thing to do during winter or fall when it's chilly outside. The employees are so nice and greet you the moment you walk in. It's always clean and organized. The employees are always kind and helpful and they know what they're talking about. They have some steals over on the clearance wall. They have many varieties of books for all ages, along with comfy chairs you can sit in to try out a book. You can place reservations on books which is incredibly helpful when trying to keep a book for yourself, but not having the time to stop by. It's a bit secluded behind a couple buildings but it makes it all the more cool!”

The staff has always been super welcoming, friendly and helpful. Also, if you buy their T shirts or sweaters they are sooooo comfy!”

“Fantastic place. I've been coming here for years and am getting deeper into metaphysical studies. They got everything you can think of and the books here are rare and hard to come by. “This Barnes & Noble is located on the Wayne state university campus. As expected in Midtown the parking is street parking. Upon entering the building there is a separate café that is different from the Starbucks café. There is a lot of Wayne State merch. Office supplies were largely marked up. I came mostly for the Barnes & Noble aspect, I was disappointed in the limited selection of books- only 5 to 6 rows of books that were mostly geared towards young adult and fiction. The Starbucks city area was quite large with many students studying it hanging out. I would consider this location if you're already in the area and need a place to get Coffee or do work, but I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to check this place out unless you really need to for the bookstore.”

“Really great place to go for all manner of books. An enjoyable shop and very reasonable rates :) they have so many different book subjects! I loved being there everything from history to Bible to Hitchcock and so many other books that either I haven't seen before or that I haven't seen in a long time.It is very refreshing to find a shop with so many different topics and types of things. There were even books on self help and some politics just to name a few :)”

“Tbh the fact that I got lost looking for this place I wanted to rate it lower lol but I won’t do that. The store is in building J which is behind building G. Once you pull into the college at the second stop sign you make a right, take that loop all the way to the end and you’ll see two buildings and a parking lot. It’s behind the building on the left side. The store itself has a nice selection of supplies that’s easy to find and a good amount of school merch. The cashier was really nice when assisting me. And helpful with answering my questions. It was my first time at this campus and gps is not clear at all about where building j is and inside I had to search for the bkstr on my own there was no faculty. Just I bunch of what looked like 9th graders. Trying to get through all those kids kind of made it difficult to search for the bookstore but I’d go back here definitely. I like there supplies”
