“I had a family gathering after a loss in my family I purchased a whole lamb and googled a meat processors in my local area from there I called uncle Henry’s spoke to the son who was very nice polite and said he could help with processing the whole lamb I did call kind of on short notice and they still helped me and did a fantastic job I am pleased with uncle Henry’s and will be my go to for future gatherings with my family and friends

“Love this place. Wonderful selection of fresh and frozen meats. So many items that are not easily found elsewhere, such as duck breast, lamb pasties, venison pasties, venison and buffalo. Nice size bags of frozen, home-grown veggies. The women who work at the counter are pleasant and helpful. I just found out today that this store has been in business for almost one hundred years. Wishing them another one hundred years!”

“This made my holiday! Chitlins are my favorite food but I don’t have often because I don’t feel like cleaning AND the overall availability plus price increases have made it hard. This year my mom surprised us by purchasing 50lbs of these pre cleaned chitlins which made it so much easier. She was able to quickly go through them and like many said it was well worth it not to sort through the filth you usually deal with. I’d be happy to purchase again.”

“I was at Costco looking for kosher meat and noticed that everything was frozen. On a whim, I called Westside Deli, and after comparing prices, I realized the price difference really wasn’t significant - especially when considering all the benefits.
I decided to buy fresh meat and support a fellow Jewish-owned business, and I’m so glad I did. I would love to see more Jewish establishments thrive in the West Bloomfield community. It was wonderful not having to drive to Oak Park and instead have access to fresh kosher meat right in the heart of our neighborhood.
I purchased lunch meat, chicken, and ground beef, and everything was excellent. Even more impressive was the experience itself. Every gentleman working there was incredibly welcoming and created such a warm, family-like atmosphere.
Supporting local businesses is important, but supporting businesses that strengthen and serve our community makes it even more meaningful. I’m grateful to have Westside Deli in our neighborhood and look forward to returning.”
“This place feels like home. I always come here to shop for fresh veggies and their fresh snacks like samosa and puffs along with Chai. Recently tried Bhanginpally and Cheruku rasaalu mangos and they tasted amazing.

“It's a kosher butcher so the prices will be substantially higher then your local supermarket but the service is super friendly and they have a nice variety of kosher meats. I'll call ahead and they go out of their way to set aside specific cuts for me even though I'm showing up right after closing. Great customer service!”

“I’ve been a regular at Namaste Fresh Meat for their good selection of meat and seafood, especially for their Pomfret. We usually place our order over the phone, and when I go to pick it up, the wait time is typically very minimal. But last week, when I went to pick up my order, there was a slight hiccup, it wasn’t ready, or they may have missed it. No worries, though! Within 10 minutes or less, they had it all ready. They were quick, and the Pomfret was cut into perfectly sized pieces, just as I requested.
A helpful tip: paying in cash gets you a discount, while there’s a 4% extra charge for card payments. Also, this place is usually quite busy, and I’ve never seen it without a crowd. So, it’s always best to place your order in advance to avoid any delays.

“I only give one less star bc when you tell me to put my basket on the belt, then ask me to unload it.. isn't it your job as a cashier to handle that for me if my stuff is already in the basket that's on the belt, why should I have to dump it out for YOU the cashier to ring it up... Was kinda annoying but this one cashier I'm referring to always got funky energy anyhow. Everyone else is great especially the woman in the hot food section, give her a raise.”
