“The staff here is really nice and plesant, and it seems consistent with every location that I've been to. Food selection is great, and yes they run out of items from time to time. They have a unique supply chain system I've read. Anyways , I'll probably be going today. A set of unique artsy people tend to be attracted to Trader Joe's. I no longer go to kroger.. unless I'm looking in clearance / last chance or for small items, no more full grocery runs though.”

“Are you kidding me with this place? Saw it while I was driving home from a Detroit Tiger’s game and laughed at the name. Googled it and saw what it was!!! A few weeks later I finally made the trip out and spent close to $200 and everything was amazing. If it wasn’t so far I would have gone back the next day. I went in looking for a gift for a friend, and Giovanni pin-pointed great selections for me based on the criterion I gave him. The owners have developed quite the network with distillers and other artisans to not only provide intimate knowledge on the products they sell, but to offer more exclusive and interesting products as well. They didn’t try to push the most expensive or flashiest bottle onto me, but directed me towards scotches and bourbons that were both within my budget as well as extraordinarily enjoyable. Her smile feels like a little gem that lights up the whole store. She always takes the initiative to say hello and offer help, and that kind of warmth is rare these days.
And Christian deserves a special mention too. His kindness, precision, and quick support whenever I need assistance make every visit smooth and enjoyable. It’s people like Dedra and Christian who make Fresh Thyme such a pleasant place to shop. Thank you both for the great service!

I live near Fresh Thyme and often stop by, but recently this place got a new kind of bread, light, thin, and square, and it’s absolutely delicious. I find myself coming here more often just because of that bread!
The other day, I couldn’t find it, so I asked Carla for help. She was so warm and kind, and thanks to her, I ended up having such a lovely dinner. I didn’t even explain it well, but somehow she knew exactly what I meant, she’s amazing!

“Always have been able to find what i'm looking for plus some. We get the rotisserie chickens about once a week, about the last 5 times they've been burnt.
Staff there have always been very helpful.”

They went out of their way to help me find everything I needed, and even loaded hundreds of dollars’ worth of groceries into my truck — I didn’t have to lift a finger at the checkout. Their customer service is top-notch, and it really made my shopping experience feel effortless. My only small wish is that the fresh meat section was stocked a bit more consistently. Other than that, everything was awesome — great people and great service! ?”

I called ahead to confirm that the item was there. I got there, found the item, paid for it, and left. The cashier was polite. Didn't over-do it. Didn't under-do it. Gave me my receipt, and that was it.”

“The best fresh produce in Ferndale. The meat counter simply can't be beat. I dislike the redesign that brought all the prepacked items and that almost forces you to only use the self check out. I don't work there; if I have to check myself out and bag everything I should get a discount! It takes away the friendly faces and personalization of a community market.”

“First time ever in an Aldi. It's my new favorite place! I felt like I won the sweepstakes! Everything is super cheap! All around great experience. The few (very busy) employees I saw were friendly and willing to help. Even the customers were courteous and good natured. It's hard to stay outta people's way, so it's understood as shared space but it works. There is a 25 cent deposit for a shopping cart which I really like, because you NEVER have to worry about one hitting your car. I believe there is also a nominal fee for shopping bags. That's completely cool with me too! Cuts down on waste and is much more environmentally friendly. I liked everything about the place.”
