“I was at Costco looking for kosher meat and noticed that everything was frozen. On a whim, I called Westside Deli, and after comparing prices, I realized the price difference really wasn’t significant - especially when considering all the benefits.
I decided to buy fresh meat and support a fellow Jewish-owned business, and I’m so glad I did. I would love to see more Jewish establishments thrive in the West Bloomfield community. It was wonderful not having to drive to Oak Park and instead have access to fresh kosher meat right in the heart of our neighborhood.
I purchased lunch meat, chicken, and ground beef, and everything was excellent. Even more impressive was the experience itself. Every gentleman working there was incredibly welcoming and created such a warm, family-like atmosphere.
Supporting local businesses is important, but supporting businesses that strengthen and serve our community makes it even more meaningful. I’m grateful to have Westside Deli in our neighborhood and look forward to returning.”

“I’ve been a regular at Namaste Fresh Meat for their good selection of meat and seafood, especially for their Pomfret. We usually place our order over the phone, and when I go to pick it up, the wait time is typically very minimal. But last week, when I went to pick up my order, there was a slight hiccup, it wasn’t ready, or they may have missed it. No worries, though! Within 10 minutes or less, they had it all ready. They were quick, and the Pomfret was cut into perfectly sized pieces, just as I requested.
A helpful tip: paying in cash gets you a discount, while there’s a 4% extra charge for card payments. Also, this place is usually quite busy, and I’ve never seen it without a crowd. So, it’s always best to place your order in advance to avoid any delays.
Situated in a busy strip mall with shared parking, Namaste Fresh Meat might have a small storefront, but it’s famous for the quality of its products. Everything is prepared in the back of the store, and when you go for pickup, it’s brought out to you. The staff cuts everything to your exact needs, and they make sure it’s nicely trimmed. All meats are hand-cut to order, which ensures freshness and quality.
The prices here are competitive, and the service is fast and reliable. If you’re looking for a place that offers fresh, quality meat and seafood, Namaste Fresh Meat is definitely worth the visit. Just be sure to plan ahead, especially since it’s always a popular spot! Overall, Great quality, excellent service, and competitive prices. “The staff there is knowledgeable and helpful to the elderly. They are respectful to everyone. But I gather that if they see and assume is a stronger lady you're not offered the same assistant. Although, perhaps I was bias took it personal.
However, the overall atmosphere is clean and the staff is just regular people on their job offering a service. Perhaps next time I will be more open that I would like help uploading my car instead of waiting to be acknowledged. I recommend this place except I will hope that another place will open in Brownstown or surrounding areas because this is where I had to travel too.?↕️??”
