βNordstrom is one of my go to stores at Somerset. Clean, organized store and the staff are friendly. Nordstrom also has a great return policy. I needed to return an item that I put in my car's trunk and just forgot about it. I finally brought in my return; four months later. They still accepted it.β
βYou will most likely find what you need in this huge store. I donβt know why they still use the name Dollar most things are a dollar and above some things are appropriately price others are overpriced but once they get you in the store, you pretty much just go for it.β
βThe Kohl's store at 14 Mile and Coolidge is an excellent location to visit and shop. The associates are very professional and friendly and Miss Portia was phenomenal with her customer service. Thank youβ

βOverall the store was good and wide space the only thing I didnβt like was asking for help since I forgot something in my cart I asked the store manager to help me and he gave me attitude and talked to me like I wasnβt understanding him I unfortunately didnβt get a name but he was an older wider guy thatβs my only complaint hopefully he has a better day another day.β
βWhat a beautiful store! I went in for the first time today - I have been to other Von Maur stores before and they are quite nice, but this is definitely the nicest and most organized one (especially the shoe clearance room!). The employees are extremely friendly and attentive, and I always love a good piano player. I ended up purchasing a pair of shoes and some baby items. They had some great sales!
Most of the negative reviews donβt make much sense, and donβt listen to those who say the store is too βgrandma.β They sell an assortment of things for every age and have very nice, quality brands (Stuart Weitzman, Coach, Frye, etc.). They also have a designer bag section with authenticated LV and Gucci (bags left over from runway, advertising, etc). I definitely will be returning!β

βUpon entering the Target store I was greeted by an employee who welcomed me with a warm "Hello".Target is known for their low prices and great selection of merchandise and they did not disappoint. I love Target it is one of my favorite go to stores for all my shopping needs.β
βWent to Sephora at Kohlβs in Rochester and was able to purchase the correct skin product that I wanted to buy. I grabbed the wrong one and she helped me buy the right one.β

Found a cart full of items & only spent $60.
Got juice, fancy party cups, snacks for 3 kids (with food allergies), party supplies and more. Definitely worth stopping by to grab some deals.β

βThey have so much good cosmetics, handbags and home goods at this location! They always have a lot of baby stuff too and toys , and the only thing I don't like about yhis location is their shoe selection but they have legit prestige brands like Gucci and Christan Dior!β
βI have recently starting shopping at JCP again and have been pleasantly surprised by changes since I was last there. My only issue is that the Troy, MI store is not open until 11 a.m. on Saturday. They lost my business twice because of that since I needed to find something earlier in the morning.β

Big Lots on Southfield Road in Southfield, Michigan holds a special place in my heart, as it was a nostalgic spot for me and my late aunt. We used to frequent this store for quick shopping trips, and I have fond memories of her waiting in the furniture area while I grabbed the things I needed. This Wednesday, I visited Big Lots without her, and while bittersweet, it was a rewarding experience.
I took advantage of my 20% off rewards to purchase toiletries, and I was pleased with the selection and prices. Although there was a slight wait in line due to only one person serving, she was efficient and cordial, making the process smooth and pleasant.
While the visit brought back memories of shopping with my aunt, I also appreciated the convenience and affordability of Big Lots. The staff's friendliness and helpfulness added to the positive experience.
Overall, I would recommend Big Lots on Southfield Road for its great deals, friendly service, and nostalgic charm. Thank you for a memorable visit.

A young employee offered to help me get my groceries in the car which meant so much because I was 8 months pregnant at the time and really struggling.
Itβs because of the employees that I drive 5 miles farther to come here rather than the Target closer to my house.β

βHello shoppers, where do I start? First of all, I'm disappointed to hear that Big Lots is closing a significant amount of stores, I've come to rely on them for my decorations for the holidays. I went to one of their newer stores, opened w/in 2 years ago, the service I received was great, the store was well stocked and the holiday collection was easy to locate. I hope by some miracle, the stores that aren't on the chopping block, will remain around for years to come.β

So I will return because thier customer service was impeccable. Man, I am a super geek for customer service. If I had some money, I would have bought them dinner. The store was so neat and organized. Cause that one one Telegraph sends me in to 1000000 panic mode. But the store on Outer Drive surprised me. I will return just because of the excellent customer service and the neatest of the store. βI went in for an interview and was offered a position with them after the interview. I was supposed to have orientation on November 10th but received a phone call yesterday informing me that they cannot hire anyone yet. I'm a little disappointed but the manager is going to call me as soon as she can bring me onboard.β
βIt's a smidge smaller with a bit less food variety than the other Meijers in the area, but it's perfectly good and still has more variety (and better prices) than smaller local grocery stores.
They need to reopen the fitting rooms. If I wanted to buy clothes without trying them on, I'd shop online. The employee who was working near the former fitting rooms looked shocked when I handed her the items I wanted to try on saying I didn't want to buy without trying on first. The sign says it's because of covid but come on, nobody has restrictions anymore. Just pay well enough that you can have the staff to run the rooms.β
