“Love this quaint family owned orchard that does not in the least bit feel commercialized. We have been coming here for years we love their you-pick for strawberries and apples. Their cider,pies and donuts are divine ! One special time my daughter and I found a hummingbird trapped in a store lying on the ground he looked severely dehydrated and ready to give up. Remembering that Verellen’s had strawberry slushies we stopped in and grabbed one thinking the red would help our sad looking friend. With a straw and some patience, It did ! We nursed it to health and within an hour he flew away thanks to the rejuvenation from the cider slush!!!! Such a cool experience that we will never forget ♥️”
“I have been going to Sheena’s for years. Like most small grocery stores, Sheena’s is convenient but as expected also a little pricier with many items than the big box stores. The reason I give them 5 stars are many. One is they have a great selection of quality meats and their prices are more than fair. I know when I meat shop here I leave the store with more great cuts of meat than I planned on buying.I recently did a little larger purchase of groceries here so left the store with many bags. When I got home and unpacked I could not find an item I had paid for. The next day I stopped back at the store and explained at the service desk what happened and they said they would give me my money back or if ai wanted I could go pick out another item and they would not charge me. They were extremely kind and friendly about this.I see employees ask physically limited customers if they need help loading their vehicles and often see them do this.I know I can always count on a good experience at Sheena’s.”
“Wow is all I have to say! Seriously though, really nice people at the counter, and amazing food! We had the calzones and the bread with the garlic dip(or as they call it "Crack Sauce") makes sense to be called that, very, very good! We will be coming back soon!”

“I come mostly for the hardware section. Prices are a little higher then a bigger box store, but they are close and service is great. So I ll pay a little extra.Have plenty of small odd ball things you might need.”

“I love shopping at Meijer cause they always seem to have what I'm looking for. I can usually find things here that their competitors don't have. They sell only fresh produce and meats. They have the best sales also. Their bottle return machines are very well maintained!”
“When I was there today there were two nice employees. It was Jacob and Karen helping customers. There was another employee that was stocking shelves. I told her that the back door was still open and she answer me bad in not a good way. I just did not say anything back to her and kept on shopping. But everything I go in Dryden store Karen and Jacob is very nice and professional. The Almont store does not keep there shelves stock and employees are nice. The manager at Almont is not nice to some customers but at Dryden the store manager is nice to everybody. That could be why more people are shopping at Dryden then Almont.”

“Last night I went into the Almont Dollar General store and there was only one person in there. I was there for few minutes and all these customers kept coming in. When I was there, I was surprised to see most of the shelves were stocked, no full carts of merchandise on the floor like most of the time, floors were cleaned, and more. I was surprised to see they got people who care about the place. Also, one of the employees who worked there who was a really good person was let go because of something that happened and it could have happened to anybody if you work in retail. I think the company should give this person another try at Dollar General. How did this person know that is was going to happen. Nobody does know or if it does happen because we are all not perfect. Also when we were there there was two young guys there and they were very helpful. These two guys are there most of the time. The one with the long hair is very nice and helpful should be Assistant Manager to the Almont Dollar General store and the other guy should be Key Holder. These guys work very hard when every time we come to the store. I think Dollar General should make these guys these positions right away because hard working people are hard to come by. The following guys that were nice and professional when we were there was Declan and Nather. They were great last night.”

“This is our favorite Kroger in the area. We find that the produce is more often fresher than Meijer and the lines are way shorter. We have come at what should be busy times and we have never had to wait for a self scan checkout. We also love what we call the "cheese bin". Sometimes you will find cheeses on sale but mostly it is smaller pieces and they are all under $5. You can try different types of cheese without buying a big block and see if you would like it or even just get a small amount of a fancier cheese for less money than the bigger block. The store Is always well stocked and very clean. I can always find what I am looking for and even love the Kroger brand products. They have some great organic options for cheaper than brand names.”

“I’ve never seen a slow or broken pump and I’ve been coming here for a decade. With points you can get gas for as cheap or a bit cheaper than Sam’s Club. Small convenience store but the attendants are always friendly. Clean safe location too.”
“They are currently moving stuff around, and there was a lot of stuff just blocking most of the isle space. All in all I mean it's a good grocery store. I use the pick up too and it's good. The grocery delivery from the kroger truck is great.”

“This was a great Kroger store to stop in at on my way home from a 3 hour visit at Blake's. This location is off of Romeo Plank on 26 Mile Road and it is a huge store. I only shopped for a gallon of milk in the dairy Department and paid at my favorite= the u-scan. This store is set up the same way as the location at 23 and Hayes in Shelby Township. Maybe the next time I'm in the area I'll spend more time in here. Then I can shop, view and compare this location to my local Kroger and give some more feedback. It was busy but not extremely at 1:30 p.m. I'm sure it's a pretty busy store, since out here in this area are many subdivisions with many homes near Van Dyke or Schoenherr Roads plus other local well known stores. On 26 Mile at Romeo Plank.”
