“Love having this dollar general as my home store. It's always super clean compared to a few others located not too far from my house. I love the new updates with offering fresh fruits and veggies. Living out in Byron we're very limited to what's near if you need to just run up and grab something. Staff is great and always super friendly and helpful. Usually stop in a few times a week and I've yet to have a bad experience.”

“Clean, quaint, small-town vibe with the all-inclusive small-town, southern-type-of-hospitality, where you're treated not just like a customer, but a neighbor and friend and not a number in line. The only purpose for removing 1 star was because the products seem to be set at prices that are not suitable for the penny-pincher, bargain shopper, which that's the name of the game when you're in an area that's too far from the bargain bulk grocery stores, so it's expected. Outside of that, it's a very lovely place to shop.”
“A small little party store, way out in the sticks, on the corner of Argentine and Fausett Rd. Despite its remote location and small size this party store is busy all day, everyday! A dedicated area for parking is kind of behind and to the side of this building, but most people park wherever. Clean on the inside with friendly staff on hand. They have a nice selection of goods, beer, ice, etc. If you ever find yourself between Howell and Hartland, and a bit north, be sure to swing into Venture Corners and pick up a pop or some beer today!”
“Lou and Robin run the place. They make you welcome, and it rubs off on the customers. Most people shopping there are nice to others. The whole thing makes us glad to be there.”
“Aces has the best Pizza! I will not go anywhere else for pizza because it's just not as good! Prices are excellent especially for the sizes you get. I always recommend aces to everyone I know!”

I had an issue with a fed x return and he showed the up most professionalism and truly showed that he cared about his job and most importantly me as a customer. “This place has super friendly staff. My car croaked during my 70 mile commute home and I was able to get it into the parking lot at this DG. The staff were super friendly and didn't hassle me about popping the hood and waiting a few hours for a tow. The gentleman working on 7/17/24 in the evening/afternoon was extremely friendly, kind and definitely an asset for DG. When my wife and kids came to pick me up the young lady working was very kind to them. I wish the DG near me had staff that was this amazing!”
“The air machine says it needs money but if you ask they will just turn it on. Kinda sucks they don't tell me about my fuel points until I tell them how much gas I want though, like extra 20 off a gallon I might have gotten more gas lol. Good people though.”
“Prices are a little high, but not outrageous, and their "2 for $X" deals on drinks are usually pretty good. Selection is okay, not great, but they have the basics you expect from a small convenience store. Their hours are pretty decent, it's nice to have something open late on this side of town. I will say they have the coldest drinks in town. Shell, Dollar General, and Riverside keep their coolers so warm that it is not nice or refreshing to grab a bottle of water or soda on a hot day because they are basically room temperature. But in my experience, Southside usually has ice cold drinks and that counts for a lot.”

“In town visiting family and stopped in the get a couple of Sanders Bumpy Cakes since we don't have them in Oklahoma. Clean store and found what we wanted (and then some! ?).”

“Great little party store. Lots to get here, even fresh ground beef that is pretty good. My wife and I were camping nearby so we stopped in multiple times. The staff is very friendly. Booze prices are decent, plus some fishing and hunting stuff all the way to guns are sold here.
The fishing room is a bit bare because the person who runs the fishing area isn't there anymore. So I wouldn't expect to get 100% what you're looking for if it's something specific. Like I needed bait bags, none of those. Not really a big deal also.
So all in all a decent place to grab a bite to eat or some camping supplies or a bottle of booze if needed.”
