“This is hands down one of the best liquor stores in Taylor. DJ, the owner, does an amazing job running the place and it really shows. Every time I come in, I’m greeted with a friendly attitude and people who actually want to help, not just ring you up and move on.
The selection is great no matter what you’re looking for—beer, wine, liquor, or something a little harder to find. If they don’t have what you want, they’re always willing to make recommendations or let you know when something might be coming in. The store is clean, organized, and easy to shop, which I really appreciate.
What sets this place apart is the customer service. DJ clearly takes pride in his store and treats customers like regulars, even if it’s your first time there. Prices are fair, the staff is knowledgeable, and the overall vibe is welcoming.
If you’re in Taylor and need a reliable liquor store with great service and a solid selection, this is the spot. I won’t go anywhere else.”
“If you need a special bottle of whatever .. they will be able to order it for you. We went in to see if they could order a special bottle of scotch and they were able to get it!! So excited indeed.
There is a small deli there so it was nice to grab a sandwich as well.

“I just had some of Lee’s fried chicken. I can honestly say this was the most flavorful fried chicken I have ever had! You don’t get flavor just from the batter and then have a bland chicken flavor like most other places. NOPE! Something about the meat itself had a really good noticeable flavor. Well done Lee’s!”

“Pulled in here after an all day snow storm and was happy with the overall experience. It was dark and the lights lit up the place well. The gas terminal was touch screen and it has the weather and traffic on it. Two car wash ports behind the gas station”

“I was out of my tobacco supplies and called everyone advertising tobacco sales, but no one delivers anymore, even my regular store that I've depended on for a long time. I called Riverside Mini Mart (for the first time) and not only did they have what I needed at a competitive price, but when the owner found out I cannot drive, he made the delivery himself. I can't imagine ANYone going out of their way for a stranger but this man did. I'll be forever grateful to him. I highly recommend this store. You can buy products anywhere, find competitive prices too, but to find a decent human being who actually cares about other people is quite rare and is priceless. Thank you Bruce! :)”

“As far as gas stations go this is the best in Monroe. The always have tasty snacks and even pizzas of you messed up and forgot to get dinner.My kids really like the slushy selection and they have a all you can drink membership if you really go there a lot that's a good value.”

Of course, thank you Trish for thinking of us when sending it and I especially want to thank Katrina and her associate for not only dropping them off in the lounge, but for taking the time to find me, advise of the lunch and to sincerely offer condolences. I just thought that was so nice of them. And OMG, the subs were absolutely amazing and delicious! I will be ordering these in the future. “The establishment is decent overall. It offers a safe and clean environment, with all the pumps in working order. Typically, you can obtain a credit card receipt directly from the pump usually if you need it. Windshield wash solution is available, along with wipers and not empty. Inside the store the interior resembles the classic Speedway, stocked with a variety of food options. The cleanliness of the store indicates that the employees take pride in their work, enhancing the overall appearance. Restroom Facilities have a single restroom which sees a lot of use. While it may not be the most pristine, it is certainly not the worst. It's more of an emergency-style facility. Prices here are considered average for the area.”
