“I have lived in my fair share of apartments, and Parkhurst was by far the best. I had a clean, newly renovated, bug and pest free, gorgeous studio apartment. The staff was helpful above and beyond what I've ever seen before, and so kind (they gave me a teacher discount for my rent, hung my curtains for free, extended their hours to help me move out -- I could go on). I've lived almost a year at another unit and still miss living in the Parkhurst!”

“I give my apt five stars in Amber Apartments at 3807 Crooks not because it's the nicest place you can live but it's a great value for the money. You're not paying for a Clubhouse and Pool ... it's older but modernized with nice tile in the bathrooms and kitchen which also has granit countertops. The wood cabinets are fine and stove is adequate and uses gas which I prefer. The water in the shower is nice and hot and has good pressure. There's no central heat and AC so it has wall units which allow better control so it's comfortable. There are no covered parking spaces but plenty of them. It works for me as a single guy, I love the real oak hardwood floors which are in mint condition, a nice amount of closets and built in drawers and the rooms are good size with 900 sf of space, I have a large covered balcony, working fireplace and there are nice grounds. It was clean and freshly painted when I moved in, I ask for some new outlets and light switches and Les the maintenence guy was right there with a great attitude. Paul the leasing manager was easy to work with and best of all it's only $1,175 for a two bedroom two bath with water, heat and gas included. It is located in a nice part of Royal Oak just off Crooks north of 13 mile. All in all this is a great value and nice place to live.”

“I move into my one bed room apartment on the 24th i am very excited by the way. The place looks great the staff in the office are very friendly and respectful and move like lighting. The process for me to get approved was fast also they do not skip a beat with contacting you if they need more information from you. They respond to emails in a reasonable time. Just from the times of me stepping into the office to bring them paper work they needed and payments they have a great relationship with the tenants that already stay there. Can’t wait to move in Friday.”

“When I moved into the Park Shelton a year ago I hadn’t been considering moving to Detroit. But I was immediately charmed by the lobby’s beautiful architecture and the enticing selection of restaurants and shops and the lifestyle I imagined. My own unit has wonderful architectural details and I never tire of the inspiring view. The building management, the front desk staff and the friendly residents take pride in caring for the building and looking out for each other. Maintenance issues and repairs like heating and air conditioning, roof and window repairs, cleanliness, parking are address proactively by a responsible condo board and tenants are notified of unavoidable short term inconveniences. This is a great home base from which to explore Detroit and to appreciate what this amazing city has to offer.”

“I’ve got to be honest. I was extremely nervous working for Quicken Loans and moving into my first place, but the leasing manager Lee is the absolute best. He and the team made the transition smooth and without question this has to be the best property downtown. They even gave us free KFC dinners and it’s only my second month here lol!! I highly recommend this place primarily due to the leasing manager...he gets it!”

“I actually enjoy living here at The Jeff. They have a very friendly staff and are always willing to help. One day while dog sitting for a friend, my dog got loose and the staff stopped everything they were doing to help me find my friends dog and bring him back to me safely. I lover the views and spacious apartments. You honestly wont go anywhere in downtown Detroit an get these view, this space and this staff for this price.”
