“One of the best theater operations in the midwest. Great productions, everyone is invited to audition or volunteer to work backstage. My family loves this theater!”
“Just went for the first time! Got sooo many scraps and supplies for my crafts, very excited to use them! Fantastic place if you’re into crafting, scrapbooking, or anything like that, will be back!”
“I purchased some of their soups at a local store. They were easy and delicious! I checked out their website and their mission and was even more impressed, so ordered more for pick-up!”
“Amazing place with hand made rustic beautiful spaces . Came for a guided zen morning. Shocked to find this is Hamtramck perfect location in a way. Heartfelt teachers and cats joined the tea and Q&A! Expected a commercial vibe but it was not.”
“Staff is so friendly and made sure we knew how to properly care for our fur babies after getting them fixed and the prices are way more reasonable then all the local vets”
“I live in Shelby Twp and I didn't make it down in time the store was closed and Im not in the area very often. I'm so glad they had a drop box for hair donations. I'm really hoping they can use my hair!! It sounds like a great place to donate and it helps kids!!”
“I am always in awe of how caring and helpful Affirmations is. The food pantry volunteers are not only helpful, but kind and understanding. Every time I go to Affirmations I feel a sense of community and love. Every person I have met or worked with has enthusiasm with you, and such a kind presence.
The food pantry is such a help to do many people and communities. If you're looking for a new food pantry to go to, I highly recommend Affirmations. They help you find what you need, and offer additional resources that Affirmations can provide.”
“Very interesting place. The event I attended was an art exhibit. Senior artists created a plethora of art in a variety of mediums. The facility as a whole is well thought out with space for activities and personal care assistance. I was informed they offer advocate services, mentorship and community fellowship events. Parking is readily available and easy to access. I really enjoyed the event”
“This is the best place for families with kids doing therapy or in-patient testing. The staff is absolutely the nicest and kindest people I've met outside the children's hospital. It is like a 5 star hotel and they have so many things for you when you forget the small stuff, to help you out. I wish I had stayed when my son was first born and in the NICU for 4 months. I donate my change every time at McDonald's! They made the hardest moments of life easier to handle because they thought of everything for you before you even arrived❤️”

“An Exquisite place that's been with us for over a hundred years. Saw some short plays and a wonderful collection of Broadway Tunes curated by Sean van Schwartz. The evening included a light collection of finger foods from Lily's catering with delicious desserts made by Sue the theater creative director. They will have another great show in April so do yourself a favor and make arrangements to be there!”
“Mark Covington is AMAZING. He's building food sovereignty for the people AND running low income programs like Thanksgiving food drives, and even has food pickup available throughout the month at this location! There's fruit trees and sunflowers and if you contact him and ask him, I'm quite certain that he'll hook you up so you and your family can be fed on wholesome food, not this garbage they sell at the stores. Awesome, awesome, awesome!!!!”
“Great Place for American Legion Members. This American Legion serves Food to Order. Every Friday there is a Special Dinner. This Friday, "Good Friday, is FISH & Fries.”
“My grandson and I were impressed with the amount of selections that were priced so that even a 12 year old young man's allowance was sufficient for gift giving. We were rushed through the gallery because we arrived only 15 minutes prior to closing, but we will return again for several gifts that my grandson is still talking about for birthday gifts.”
“This was a jewel for my children when they were there years ago. Ms. Patrice did an amazing job making sure to provide children with a safe and supportive environment.”
“Amazing staff, they truly care about your whole entire being. Switched over to Access for emotional & behavioral health and so far I enjoy the services they provide.”
“I had a great time there they had a great variety of things and also the service was wonderful from the lady that helped me and they actually have a return policy unlike other other places which I love that also for just $50 they'll deliver a couch or anything that you want to your place which is great”

“Very helpful for veterans. Macomb county veterans services is very helpful and very knowledgeable and very helpful. I would recommend their services to any veteran in need. Thank you Daryl for being so helpful today greatly appreciated.”
“This place was so amazing and fun!! Everyone was very friendly and conversational and I’d definitely come back to visit and socialize with the cats and hopefully adopt soon!”
“What an incredible organization. My dog had been diagnosed with pyometra, a fatal infection that requires surgery. I am low income, calling around and getting estimates for surgery and everywhere was saying anywhere from 1900-5500, at that point I’m devastated thinking I’m going to have to put my baby to sleep. Until I found all about animals, they are extremely helpful, compassionate, and caring of all our little furry babies. Not only were they able to schedule an emergency surgery and put her first on the list for surgeries on Monday morning, but the cost was also $420 out the door with the medications included. All about animals saved my baby, and saved me from a broken heart. I was able to pick my girl up the same day, and since she’s been home there has been no complications. I would highly recommend all about animals to anyone who’s furry baby needs any help with wellness, being neutered, or anything. Please take your babies somewhere where the workers actually enjoy their job and love the animals, and that place is all about animals. Thank you so much for everything.”
“I love The Hub and Back Alley Bikes! Whether I need a piece of advice, a new tube, or a full tune up, The Hub is always my first stop. The staff is always super kind, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. The shop always has quality bikes and if they don’t have the parts I’m looking for they are quick to offer placing an order. Back Alley is also an incredible asset to have around with the amount of apartment dwellers that lack ample space to wrench on bikes. I love The Hub and Back Alley and I will tell anybody that will listen!!”
“This place is awesome, they have everything in a big city, that makes you feel like you’re in the country, animal zoo, model train, farming, and manufacturing, I love Pingree farms.”
“I absolutely appreciate and adore this place.
It is community oriented and helpful for the community.
All of the staff are incredible and have a heart of caring, patience, love and kindness.”
“This school has changed my life! Finished my GED, they paid for me to go into a welding trade and now im welder with a job paying well and great benefits/ hours!✊✊🙌💰”
“Im completely new to bikes—so as you can guess, I don’t have any tools myself. A couple of friends took me to this place to help me fix up a bike I got off FB marketplace. I was blown away!! The staff and volunteers were amazing and took the time to teach me. I learned so much and feel really good about the work I did on my bike. Great resource for the community. Thanks all!”
“Haircuts have been an increasingly nightmarish experience for us for the last two years. Our normally calm, sweet, logical, verbal little boy turned into a thrashing, crying, screaming nightmare every 8 weeks, to the point where we had to walk out of his last haircut without any hairs actually shortened. We worried this would be our norm until the miracle that is Carolyn was suggested to us on Facebook, and now we know we don’t have to sit in the ick.
Carolyn creates a safe, warm, engaging, and thoughtful experience for sensitive kids. She immediately connects with kids physically, verbally, and emotionally. She talks to kids rather than above or about them. She explains exactly what she’s going to do, models on a bear so nothing is unknown or scary, and stays playful the whole time. She was incredibly in tune with my son and knew when to push a little farther or pull back a little bit so he stayed calm. She respected his words and body language so he felt in control. The smiles, giggles, and relaxation that emanated from my son for the entire experience would have been worth it even if the actual cut wasn’t great, but I’m happy to report that the quality of the cut was just as wonderful as the rest of the hour she dedicated to us.
We will be back for sure!”

“Great place! Lovely people! I am not sure what’s wrong with that “Jim” guy but if anyone was rude it would be because you were. The Legion does a lot of wonderful things for people and Veterans. Fun events like parties, bands, music bingo. Most of all just a place where my friends are! ❤️”
“Don’t get me wrong, I love this store, it’s a hidden gem, people are always friendly, and you can find real antiques here…but the last few weeks prices are getting crazy— $339.99 for a cow skin foot stool????? I have one from Homegoods for a 3rd of that price brand new. Watch it Centerline!!! There are seniors and just regular people shopping here not Millionaires.”
