“The War Memorial is an absolutely stunning venue. We had a wedding planner through Haley Makay events that managed a large amount of communication with the War Memorial and day-of coordination. The War Memorial was very accommodating. Specifically, we wanted ice cream sundaes for dessert, and they worked to make that happen. Additionally, when it looked like it might rain, they worked together with our wedding planner to come up with a great solution. On the day of the wedding, everything flowed super smoothly. We were very impressed with how quickly they served a 3 course meal to a room of 200 people. The War Memorial was amazing, and I would 10/10 recommend to anyone!”

“Best Thanksgiving Turkey meal! Got a Thanksgiving Turkey package take-home meal. Turkey was perfect. Seasoned and ready to reheat. Juicy and great flavor. Stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry relish, and the dinner rolls were delicious. Highly recommend for anyone that does take-home meals for holidays. Definately going here again next year. (Better than any of the restaurants we’ve got Thanksgiving meals from.)”

“It's a great place to host an event. The inside is spacious and well-lit. I appreciate the decor and the layout of the building. The bathroom is one of the cleanest I've ever used. The staff are polite and friendly. I only wish they had a bigger parking lot because, for that type of building, it is way too small. But if you plan on staying inside for a while, it does get a little hot, but nothing cold water can't solve 😁.”

“This is the best place for families with kids doing therapy or in-patient testing. The staff is absolutely the nicest and kindest people I've met outside the children's hospital. It is like a 5 star hotel and they have so many things for you when you forget the small stuff, to help you out. I wish I had stayed when my son was first born and in the NICU for 4 months. I donate my change every time at McDonald's! They made the hardest moments of life easier to handle because they thought of everything for you before you even arrived❤️”

“An Exquisite place that's been with us for over a hundred years. Saw some short plays and a wonderful collection of Broadway Tunes curated by Sean van Schwartz. The evening included a light collection of finger foods from Lily's catering with delicious desserts made by Sue the theater creative director. They will have another great show in April so do yourself a favor and make arrangements to be there!”

“I love The Hub and Back Alley Bikes! Whether I need a piece of advice, a new tube, or a full tune up, The Hub is always my first stop. The staff is always super kind, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. The shop always has quality bikes and if they don’t have the parts I’m looking for they are quick to offer placing an order. Back Alley is also an incredible asset to have around with the amount of apartment dwellers that lack ample space to wrench on bikes. I love The Hub and Back Alley and I will tell anybody that will listen!!”
