“Let me tell you about this WONDERFUL office. Our lab ate something he shouldn't have. We called our regular vet who couldn't see him today. We luve close to Centerline Vet and called there to avoid the OUTRAGEOUS cost of emergency care. Emily answered the phone. Oh so friendly and helpful. They took us in right away. Olivia, was so helpful and friendly and then Megan who kept us updated on everything. Again, so friendly. We were in and out with a well dog and Megan even suggested a finance company. What would have been 800.00 in the emergency vet was half that price. . The NICEST people. Dr. Koss eased our mind and saw our dog as soon as we arrived. She is A-MAZING. HIGHY RECOMMEND this office.”

Going through her surgery and recovery has been incredibly stressful for me, and I’ll fully admit that I’ve been a nervous wreck throughout the whole process. Everyone at Hilton has been patient, understanding, and incredibly helpful every step of the way. They’ve taken my concerns seriously, answered my questions, and have always made me feel like Keebs is genuinely cared for. Even when I’ve worried about every little change during her recovery, they’ve never made me feel like I was bothering them or overreacting. Most importantly, they’ve been wonderful with Keebs. When you love an animal as much as I love her, having people you trust taking care of her means everything. “Our dog was very very sick. We had 4 vets from a different vet practice tell us there was nothing left to do to save her. During this very difficult time Dr. John returned my call and shared that he wanted to help. Not only did he make our dog comfortable that night (after hours) by calling in medication, he followed up for the days on his own time. He truly saved her life when multiple other vets gave up way too soon. I have never seen a vet office with such compassion and dedication to sick animals. They truly care and go out of their way to help. My dog went from having a scheduled appointment to put her to sleep to feeling the best she has felt in years. She is happy and doing so well. I am forever grateful for west Woodward animal clinic and highly recommend them! They answered every single question and explained all outcomes. They were realistic with her possible prognosis but worked so hard to make our dog better. They also have very fair prices and in no way try to scam or do unnecessary testing to make money.”

“Kimball Animal Hospital has taken care of my fur babies from kittenhood, to navigating end-of-life steps, to everything in between. They're super transparent and educational about treatments, pricing, and how to navigate care at home. They're also quick to respond if I ever call or email with questions or needing an appointment (same day or within a business day at most). Tony the Vet Tech always tries to check on my black cat Tony, whenever he sees his name on the patient board. Patience and understanding is given to my partner's cat, Major, who gets quite shy outside of the house. Francie prefers to take her exams from the human's chair (as she thinks she's a person) and Dr. Hillman makes her feel right at home. I recommend KAH to anyone and everyone, friend or stranger! Kindest staff, reassuring to humans, clean facility, easy parking, and excellent treat offerings. (I wish my human doctor was as great as this practice.)”

“This place is exceptional and my experience with the staff was amazing right from the initial phone call. They were able to see my cat within an hour of calling (I assumed they must not be busy and thus had the time, but they definitely were busy when I showed up!), identified the problem right away and laid out a simple treatment plan that's both easy to follow and extremely inexpensive. Dr Syed and staff took time to ensure I knew how to proceed going forward and gave me a comprehensive timeline for when I should resume normal activities like brushing, etc. Everyone I dealt with here were efficient, friendly and seemed genuinely interested in ensuring that I was satisfied with the experience! Well done!”

“We have always had nothing but amazing experiences with this team, but today topped the cake. We got our cat bloodwork done at her annual visit last week and thought everything would be fine. Unfortunately the vet called us to let us know she's having some early kidney issues. Instead of just giving me the treatment recommendation and moving on, the doctor sat with me on the phone for over 20 minutes walking me through all the options, giving me honest opinions like what she would do for her own cat, and answering all my questions. I walked away from the call obviously scared and sad but also confident in the plan. It was exceptional care and understanding that you can only get from a vet and team that truly cares”

“Brought my frenchie here after a traumatic experience elsewhere which led to a non-healing eye ulcer that he’d been battling with for over 2 months. After seeing multiple vets, without much progress, I was feeling frustrated and worried. After just 2 appointments with Dr. Wilson, his eye is completely healed! I feel so relieved & grateful to have found a clinic who truly has the experience & knowledge I was looking for. My dog was also coming out of a mild IVDD spinal flare up and Dr. Wilson’s willingness to monitor symptoms and take his overall health into consideration was truly exactly what we needed. I highly recommend this place and feel fortunate to have found them!”

“My mom has been seeing Dr J for quite a few years and he's great we just brought are new puppy to see Dr j and he and all the girls are awesome couple even came in and was singing to calm her during her shots she didn't even squeek If your looking for a old school vet.Dr J is the man Highly recommend 😀 I'm changing my review only because went we brought ate dog in for a check up They didn't even listen to her heart check temp then we have her fixed and Islington if they find problems with teeth they can be fixed right then but didn't happen So dog was fine till the seizures started and all this came on after her surgery In not saying they did something wrong but. After talking to a neuro doc we find out she had extra 8 teeth and she's blind hmmm seems awful strange then after surgery no follow up calls asking how she was doing well his your up date she's dead, So all I can is do your research It seems it was all about money with this place... She was a good dog to after surgery all the sudden she's blind come on... Thanks for nothing”

“I've been using AAVH for our cats since shortly after moving to Troy in 2010. They have always been very thorough, compassionate, and willing to work with us on the treatment of our cats as they enter their senior years. But this week, I was completely astounded by their care for both me and my cat. On my way to visit them for my cat's monthly injection, I was rear-ended about 1/2 block away. My cat managed to escape his carrier, so he was loose and traumatized and didn't even want ME near him. I called, hoping that I could get some gloves or maybe they could come with a sedative. Dr. Birley and two techs arrived with equipment, got him into a new crate, took him back to the office, relaxed him, checked for injuries, and cleaned him up. Sydney even offered to drop him off at the house if I couldn't make it to them by closing. They eased the burden of a terrible experience, and the care they showed both of us still brings tears to my eyes.”

My first experience with them was when I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put my cat down. The staff was incredibly compassionate during such a difficult time. More recently, I had an emergency with my dog, Betsy, who had an abscess that ruptured on a Saturday at 4pm, right before they were about to close. Even though they could have turned us away, they stayed open to help us, which was such a relief. The doctor was amazing— they quickly shaved the area, examined it, and reassured me that this was fairly common. They prescribed antibiotics and scheduled a follow-up for two weeks later. The best part? The total cost was only $119.00! They could have easily charged much more, but they were honest and fair, which is rare to find. Groesbeck Animal Hospital has gained a loyal customer for life. Betsy and I thank you all for your kindness, professionalism, and incredible care!”
