“It takes forever (3 min or so) for a cup of coffee to brew, If you work third shift and you're running late you will not have time to stop for your coffee at Johnny's. Third shifters Jack and Alex are great at customer service.”

“Jits is such a nice family friendly place. One of the last home town feeling gas stations I know of.... The ONLY suggestion I have is they they NEED a rewards program better than trying to apply for the Philips 66 credit card which honestly isn't even a good deal in and of it's self. Other than that they have amazing employees who will do what they can to help and are are always courteous and kind!!!!!!”
“I work 3rd shift and this speedway always comes in handy. Tonight I had a large order for some pizza very last minute and the man at the counter was so nice and kept them warm while the rest cooked and went as fast as possible even though you could tell truck had just gotten here and he was busy. I often have similar experiences with a woman at night who’s also great and so friendly!!”
“Everyone complains about things being overpriced, but as a former employee, I can tell you those girls work very hard, care about their regulars and the owner regularly puts money back into the community. He donates to the local police, and even sponsors a young racer, and I'm sure does many other things I don't know about. If they know you and you don't steal or cheat, and you come in a little short one day, chances are they'll cover the extra. Good people and a good small town business. I loved my time there.”
“Right now admiral is advertising Diesel 3.99 pay cash and you get an extra $0.10 off per gallon. They Now are able to sell frier foods, made in house. Price points are not unreasonable. Clean and organized.”
“A nice, clean station. The staff are very friendly. As with other businesses on US-131 and Michigan Ave, it can be a little difficult to get into, depending on which direction you’re coming from. Prices are usually consistent with other Shell stations in the area.”
“Love Tito and Minnie!! Sweetest people and store owners in this area. I have eaten good food here, love the burgers, gizzards, wedges and I go there almost every day, have been for the past 4 years! Never seen anything less than good customer service from Tito and his wife. People want to pick and choose who runs a particular store and that’s why people have a “negative review”. Personally, I have had only 1 particular employee of his that I had to put in her place because she was picking & choosing when it came to customers (just like customers pick & choose with store owners) but other than her, his employees are kind and caring. Store is clean and stocked and apparently he is not all that bad considering his lunch rush hour with a packed store and early morning rush before work!!”

“We have the Best Bosses and co workers in my opinion. My Bosses roll up their sleeves and work right beside us!! We work as a team and take Pride to make sure our store and bathrooms are clean at all times. Our customers absolutely love us!! We have travelers tell us all the time that Johnny's are the cleanest they've seen and they return to our store every time they're in town. One such customer fell in love with our bathrooms and the sinks. I absolutely LOVE working at Johnny's White Pigeon store 1950”

“A gentleman working overnight was especially kind two nights ago. Returned to store this morning for fuel me coffee and truck guzzeline. While preparing coffee another delicious aroma caught my attention, Mike.
I only said he smelled wonderful and would make many people's day today. Finished coffee prep entered line to pay Mr Mike lays down a $50 and says not to use my debit card. I thought his transaction was still in play.
No.
He told the cashier to use it to pay for MY purchase!!

Immediately prior to this generosity
someone had offered to buy Mike's coffee and gas when he keft the line & went to his car. Now I know he went to his car to get the $50. Shannon and I were speaking about how great people ARE out here. She bought that fellow coffee and mine.

“Friendly staff , place is always well lit, clean with plenty of convenience snacks on hand. Coffee machines go into wait mode after a certain time in the PM (if you’re a 3rd shift or early first, you may be out of luck for a fresh coffee, mildly annoying)”
