I am writing this review to commend Brandon at the Ace Hardware located on Baldwin Road. His level of patience and expertise deserves the highest praise.
I was struggling immensely with a persistent leak under my sink, caused by a faulty pipe leading into my garbage disposal. Plumbing is not my area of expertise, and I was completely overwhelmed by the different parts and connections required for a replacement.
Brandon immediately stepped in. He was incredibly patient and took the time to assess my existing, leaky parts. Instead of just pointing me toward a shelf, he meticulously fitted my current components with the exact, necessary replacement pieces right there at the counter. He essentially pre-assembled the critical connections, ensuring I had everything required for a straightforward installation when I got home.
Thanks to his effort and attention to detail, the assembly and installation were simple, and the leak is completely gone.
There are many Ace Hardware locations near me, but Brandon's exceptional service at the Baldwin Road store ensures that I will only choose this location for all my future hardware needs. He is a fantastic asset to your team!”

When we've had keys made at other hardware stores, there are always one or two that either don't work at all or work poorly. Not here-- these are perfect. This is a great go-to resource!”
“My truck battery died in the parking lot, I went back in the store and a gentleman named Larry helped me. He recommended a Viking hand held jump starter, he was very knowledgeable about the products in the store. The recommended jump starter worked perfectly and I'm back on the road.

“Went to buy paint and met the gal working in the paint section with dark brown hair. I wish I would have asked her name, or had the thought to look at her name tag. She was AMAZING! She knew her stuff! So patient, and great personality! I will forever come back and get paint when she's there.”
“I went to Home Depot for screen door replacement parts and walked up to Eric and asked for help, he stop and took me to the location.
Eric provided details on all replacement parts, give improvements and then assisted me with pricing at cashier's with Barbara cashing me out.
I never had that much help from store ever!

“For every 1 visit to Lowe’s, I’ve visited Home Depot 50. Nothing bad against Lowe’s, I just knew Home Depot for the brand.
After an awful time with both Ace and Home Depot, we decided to move our business accounts elsewhere.
This is exact store was almost unreal to experience. Every single employee I passed smiled, asked about my day, and if I needed help. I’m not one to stop and chit chat but what a refreshing change. Start to finish, I was shocked that this Lowe’s isn’t packed to the doors with an awesome staff like this!
Lastly, Robin was great - friendly, cheerful, and knowledgeable.
The only downside is ALL my tools are Ryobi ? so the new challenge is working those out in favor of something at Lowe’s.

“What a breath of fresh air!!!! Today I needed to run to the hardware store for my mom. It was so gratifying to visit a hardware store that actually values customer service!! It was refreshing and oddly nostalgic to walk through a store and have multiple people ask me if I needed help. I genuinely want to say thank you to the owners and managers who create this culture and have not given into the trend of hiring almost no humans. Truly from my heart, thank you and know that it is appreciated. Sadly I live in Rochester and cannot make this my home store, but I'll be back here whenever I get the chance.”
