“I pulled in for an oil change and had a rattle. Seems the heat shield under the car was dislodged. I asked Frank if he could verify and remove the heat shield. He did, amazingly. I asked the favor before telling him I needed my oil changed. In other words, Frank was just going to do a favor for random dude with a car issue. Great customer service. The bottle of water is a nice touch as well. I felt like I traveled back in time...”

The local Tuffy Dealer was great. Thanks Aaron and Dan. Mavis is the problem. They provide an $80 coupon but you'll never collect because they can''t read your receipt. Local folks care but the corporate parent doesn't care at all. Local Tuffy is great but don't expect anything from the Mavis parent company.”

“Just got my brakes and rotors done here And I also got a full synthetic oil change, a couple of guys help me out They are fantastic. They did in the timely manner. They had a really nice waiting room for me to sit in offered me water. And they were a four minute walk from a place called chickpea restaurant that was really good and my car sounds amazing. I had a lot of people recommend them. I also had a girl that stopped in for an oil change. It’s been with them three times now. She has been really happy with them too, and I would really recommend them over and over again. This is the only place I’m gonna go to do my oil changes and my tires because that was also the cheapest oil change I’ve gotten in a really long time everywhere else has been well over 100 and that was really affordable”

For the guy who used to work with such “complicated” issues like grammar or literature, all technical problems and auto technology sound like a “cosmic” mistery…
And suddenly comes the moment that you have to get someone, who will resolve a mechanical problem with your car…
If you run into bad people and they recognize your ignorance, they will feel free to manipulate you and cheat on you (such common these days)!
Then the most important thing is to find someone trustworthy and honest, someone who will do it for you the same way - no difference - the big genius or ignorant you are…
And I found such place! Classic Automotive Repair in Sterling Heights!!!
All those guys - in customer service - Gus and Steve, all their mechanics - are like from exemplary, excellent book story.
They are very knowledgeable, but considerate, tactful, modest and very professional and friendly at the same time!
They create the atmosphere like you are among friends or family members. They explain to you all meander around your vehicle in the way that everyone can understand! There is no even one second that you could think that they want just get money from you and make business on your misfortune!
All those guys are presenting the highest skills in aspects of professional knowledge and also difficult dealing with disoriented individuals like me! Their honesty was many times evaluated and confirmed many, many times!
It’s not a coincidence that they are in business 36 years!

I have been going to this shop for almost two years now, and I can confidently say they are the absolute gold standard for automotive service. I brought them a nearly 30-year-old vehicle, and the team here immediately identified major, obvious structural and mechanical issues that a previous shop completely missed.
