βThe employees used to be courteous and friendly. Not anymore. I went in here today hot, tired and waiting in line. A person of color not even in line walks right in front of me & gets waited on before me. Then when I say something to the cashier she acts like she didn't know I was there first. Bull. You know as a cashier when someone walks in front of another person. Racist. You take the next person in line; not the next that walks in front of someone to the counter. Would have been different if there was an apology but nothing I received nothing but disrespect. Management should watch cameras but obviously they don't care. Edited 4/21. Service has improved so I'll change rating to a 3β
βI made a post recently about this store..the owner is cool and i didnt mean to post bad review on store..it is nice I had a situation with a worker who I felt was continuously rude but ..but the store is a great place..β

βMy dad used to come here and get dehydrated meat sticks in bulk. The owner used to love him and would constantly sell him bags of meat sticks. I used to come in here with friends and return pop bottles to get snacks for the day. The owner was always very friendly and nice. Glad to see them still open!β
βI can only say positive things and I'm sure that they don't sell from the previous day, but everything that's left is thrown away and prepared fresh the next day.
BΓΆrek with cheese and meat is all freshly made and prepared.

βI just wanna shout out a gentlemen named Shiro that helped me today. I usually come in daily for my soda. Usually I'm in and out, but today this gentle men greeted me and asked me how I was doing. He seemed very genuine as well. Not knocking on gas station workers, hell, I was one for some time, but its hard to find people in the workforce that treat others with kindness. I just want your managers to know how infectious your positive attitude isβ

ββDanβ is so sweet, he noticed my carrot cake was a few days expired and apologized for not noticing, he has a very kind energy. Thereβs another older gentleman that works there, same thing; one of the nicest people Iβve ever met at a convenience store! Thereβs only one person here whoβs absolutely miserable and I wish I knew his name, but the older gentleman and Dan are phenomenal, usually there at night. Thank you both for your high spirits ?β
βI usually don't leave reviews but the manager Shannon was working solo on her shift and she deserves a lot of credit for doing that. Especially on a busy day like Sunday. She was working hard and being extremely nice even under the stress of working alone. Speedway is lucky to have someone like her because a worker/leader like her is hard to find these days.β

βI come here every morning because Jennifer gives the best customer service. She always remembers my name, what I get. Seeing her greeting 75% of her customers by name is an absolutely impressive task. If she wasn't here, I wouldn't stop here nearly as often.β
βGas isn't too bad today. $2.39 for cash or credit. I prefer places like this that have the same exact price for cash or credit. I feel like I'm not getting penalized for not having cash on me. Car was nearly empty. Filled up the car with $38, just less than 15.84 gallons of gas. Quick in and out service with the outside pumps and credit card machines. It took us less then five minutes, can't beat that.β

βGood replacement for the now defunct CVS and RITE AID near me. I had horrible experiences via app and phone calls follow ups for pharmacy error costing me $$$. In person visits are best for me so the Lyft fares are worth the excellent in person care. Nice selection of non pharmacy products but not too much. Cozy.β

βIt's a great station, an entrance on both Kelly and 15 mile. Really nice people. The ONLY iffy thing about it is the time of day you need to go there. Kelly and 15 mile Rd. can be a real traffic jam at certain times of day. School busses, lunch hour and after-work traffic can be a real challenge if you're needing a quick in and out. Both Kelly and 15 can be wall-to-wall traffic at the worst times. Other than that, there's no complaint.β

βIt's hard to drive by this place without stopping. Great place to grab a freshly made sandwich. They also make great entrees for dinner. They make the best baked goods including muffins and cakes. Great selection of liquor and any non alcoholic drinks you can think of. Do yourself a favor and just visit this cute, hometown store.
