“Clean store and friendly service. Very knowledgeable about their products. If they do not have it, they will try to get it for you. Best prices and largest selection I have seen in Metro Detroit area.I go there once at least every few weeks. I find myself going there more then grocery store for things I in bulk. They have way more then just chocolateand candy. I also buy spices, baking goods, snacks, tea, noodles & their mixed nuts selection is on point. ?”

“It was an ok experience, smaller than I thought. Didn't care for the put a 25 in the slot to get a shopping cart. No bags was another no go for me. The prices were about the same as Sam's or Costco, likes that the Kombucha was cheaper. Wasn't as impressed as I read I should be on a FB POST. VERY CLEAN , NOT ALOT OF STAFF. I WNT B SWITCHING from Sam's Club but would shop there if I was in a hurry and needed a smaller portion of something .”

“I’ve been shopping at GFS for quite some time for a local business that feeds 55 people three meals a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year… so I’m at the store A LOT, in addition to receiving a weekly truck order. The staff at this location has consistently gone above and beyond. The manager knows me by name. He greets me every time I enter, and takes the initiative to contact me about special stock he knows I need. If I place a pickup order, it’s shopped and ready to go when I arrive. The gentleman who stocks the freezers stops to ask if I need assistance every time he sees me in the freezer aisle. The staff working the registers and those behind the service counter have been nothing but courteous and helpful. It’s refreshing to see staff working together as team to grow a business, and who make their customers feel like part of the team, too! As rushed and stressful as my work days can be, the GFS team is a bright spot. The people at this location make the 20 minute drive worthwhile. They all deserve a big a thank you for the tangible improvements they’ve made over recent years!”

“I've been going here for quite a few years now and from the owners to the cashier's are awesome people. When I ate there pizza for the first time I was like damn this is pretty good, then when they opened the Belly Buster Pizza and I ordered the chicken I was in love. Although I have quit drinking I still go here for the pizza and the chicken. I recently tried their Italian sub and once again fell in love. I would recommend this place over any other pizza and chicken in the area

Just got a meat lovers with Xtra cheese and all I can say is WOW ??? I eat here quite often, but this pizza is way better then any place around. If you want good food at a reasonable price you found it with Belly Busters”

“Aldi is pretty great all around and this particular location is my favorite one.
Lucky me, I have agoraphobia, anxiety and sensory processing issues. Grocery shopping is an ordeal that I have to psych myself up for. Aldi is uniquely awesome because the choices are limited. I don’t have to waste my time wondering which brand is best or doing price comparisons.
Their produce is decent; some things better than others. The organic baby spinach and French cut green beans are my favorites and they’re consistently good. They have a nice selection of quality meat, cheese and eggs.
The painfully bright, obnoxious lighting in stores always sets me on edge, but Aldi isn’t bad at all. It’s somehow less harsh than the average grocery store and they never play music over the P.A.
I love, love, love that they installed self-checkout stations. It’s my policy to avoid human interactions whenever possible, but on the occasion that I do require assistance the employees here are always very friendly and helpful.
Their plastic bag policy rocks my world. Bring your own reusable bags, collect empty boxes while you shop or pay for bags at checkout. Yes! Why doesn’t everyone do this? If people saw plastic bags as having monetary value, a lot of environmental issues would become far more manageable.
The concept of paying a refundable quarter for a cart is also brilliant. It means the parking lot is never littered with strays that will roll into your car and dent it. It means money is saved because they don’t need an extra employee to go outside and wrangle them. And that means you’ll find organic free-range chicken eggs for at least $2 less here than at Meijer or Kroger.”

“I have lived in the area for the last 5 years. However, I hadn't stopped in here until the most recent owners took over. I'm from down south where these general stores are a little more common in the sticks. One thing that's different with this one is that they sell liquor. I saw that on their Facebook page and that pushed me to stop in. I'm a gin drinker, and they actually have a decent selection compared to a lot of stores here.

I've interacted with what seems to be both of the owners and they are very, very pleasant. They have a good selection of snacks and foods, and some glass bottle sodas.

Sure, you'll pay a little more at general stores, but not having to navigate the Busch's or Kroger parking lot chaos for a quick liquor or sandwich run... totally worth it. And, I'd argue that they're cheaper than the former anyways.

Also, if you're a cyclist, they have a bike rack out front and it's a nice safe route to ride. It's right at the crossroads of Clinton-Macon, Macon, and Ford Roads... all which have been good to me so far on the bike.”

“I went into to buy indoor plants, and came out with some great finds and prices in favorite foods. Pot Stickers, Mac & Cheese, plus an old Aldi favorite, Tamato Pesto. Everything I bought was considerably lower than the price at my regular supermarket. I was lucky enough to have help walking into the store and lucky enough for their only electric cart. If not, I couldn't have shopped Aldi. That's the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.”

“The absolute best place to go for the freshest of meats and organic vegetables. Some items not to be missed are the chicken sausages, the breakfast chops, and my grandson knows that his job is to choose his favorite chocolates into the little white bags. Eggs here are always the freshest. We love the red sweet potatoes and they are always on our list, when running low, we combine with butternut squash, no sugar needed just some butter and spices and they are more than sweet enough! Hefling's has more than earned our place to shop for everything that we need for the omnivore and ovo-lacto vegetarian in our household.”

“Great place for picking up lunch meat. Full meat counter with butcher. We use this place for picking up a few things, like when you don't want to get screwed up in long lines at Meijer. Granted, you'll pay a little more here for convenience but worth it. Everyone is really friendly”

“Randazzo you’re amazing but some items are moldy or expired so not to be mean but can you fix that maybe week have someone check on the produce and pay them 15/1h”

“Would give a five. However myself and many people I know wished that mushrooms were not put in lots of the to go foods. It leaves a lot of people out from buying items with mushrooms in it due to allergies. Would love to buy the meatloaf weekly….”

“I've been going to Value City Pharmacy for about a year after having difficulty at another pharmacy. The pharmacists are so friendly. I am always greeted with a smile. The well known pharmacies are too busy to give you the attention you want. These pharmacists are extremely helpful and so kind. I will always come to Value Center Pharmacy. I can't say enough good things about them.”

“Great local small business, the owners are super friendly and the customers are regulars so you will feel right at home picking up what you need. The business as a whole is incredible. Recently stepped in and stepped up to help the Macomb Foster Closet provide drinks for a Back to School event..the smile on the faces of the kids being offered a Faygo pop was priceless. THANK YOU for Gus at Diamond Dot for being amazing!”

“I go here often, it's a quick easy stop, with good prices and selection. I've noticed recently the store is cleaner and more organized than it used to be, also the workers are more helpful and pleasant than in the past. Especially Quentin he always has a smile and kind word. Employees like him will keep customers coming back.”

“Definitely improved over passed year or two.
Con, taking away cashiers. Eliminating jobs, is not a plus for me. Seeing you're such a large company! Plus, it's really hurting customers like myself that need and could use the help. Asking an agent to help ring and bag a whole cart of grocery isn't realistic since they are busy already. Bad move as a "Family Friendly" grocery Superstore”

“Thanks to the manager Keith
Garfield location. The fact I had purchased three boston ferns, and because of the cold temperatures they looked bad.
I talked to Keith about the situation, he told me to grab three replacement plants.
I didn't expect the response me being a 24 year veteran of the air force felt very thankful.
I'm an daily shopper at this store, well organized great employees.
Thanks again
Manager Keith”
