About Detroit Medical Center Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital
Detroit Medical Center Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital receives generally positive feedback from patients. Many reviewers praise the hospital’s staff for being kind, helpful, and attentive, with several mentioning specific nurses who went above and beyond in their care. Patients appreciate the caring attitude of the nurses and staff, noting that they feel well taken care of during their visits. However, some concerns are raised about outdated or worn-out equipment, particularly IV machines, which some patients find frustrating. There is also mention of a brief, unsatisfactory interaction with doctors, and a specific incident where a patient's pain was not managed promptly after surgery, although a nurse eventually provided medication. This was mitigated by the helpfulness of staff members, especially one nurse who responded quickly to the patient's needs. Billing issues were successfully resolved after some effort, demonstrating the hospital’s willingness to make things right. Overall, the hospital is viewed as a place where staff are caring and helpful, with some room for improvement in equipment and communication. Patients who have visited for various procedures or emergencies feel confident recommending the hospital for its compassionate care.
Huron Valley resolved the billing issue and per the agreement I would remove this review which I have. Don't see a way of deleting it entirely so I'm leaving this note that they did stand up and make it right. Thank you

Did not care for the level of treatment that they provided for my mom. She had to be transferred to Henry Ford. However her nurse was very kind and I wish I could remember his name.

After a stressful experience a very helpful lady from the sleep lab followed up and was able to get my issue taken care of. Thank you.
