“I love going here for gas or cigarettes. I've been going there for 2 to 3 years now and I haven't had no issues with them. They are friendly and awesome to talk to.”

“Everyone complains about things being overpriced, but as a former employee, I can tell you those girls work very hard, care about their regulars and the owner regularly puts money back into the community. He donates to the local police, and even sponsors a young racer, and I'm sure does many other things I don't know about. If they know you and you don't steal or cheat, and you come in a little short one day, chances are they'll cover the extra. Good people and a good small town business. I loved my time there.”
“Wow. This used to be a Shell station whose owner must have either been deaf, lived a few miles away but yet wanted to still hear the outdoor music or was making a killing off selling Tylenol from music induced headaches while pumping gas. Thank you, thank you, thank you for killing the music. Someone bought the station and completely rebuilt it from the ground up and it looks great. The pumps work great, to the point that every single time my Palindrome stops here for gas he compliments the pumps and station. They still carry Diesel which is wonderful as the only other place close by is kind of a pita. They still have Subway and a nice convenience store here. Which is nice in a town that only has an Amish store and the Dollar store as options for milk & other essentials unless you want to drive to Sturgis or Three Rivers. The only bad side is the free windshield wiper fluid seems designed to leave streaks. Yes I know it is free, but I'd use a lot less if I wasn't trying to clean the streaks.”

“We have the Best Bosses and co workers in my opinion. My Bosses roll up their sleeves and work right beside us!! We work as a team and take Pride to make sure our store and bathrooms are clean at all times. Our customers absolutely love us!! We have travelers tell us all the time that Johnny's are the cleanest they've seen and they return to our store every time they're in town. One such customer fell in love with our bathrooms and the sinks. I absolutely LOVE working at Johnny's White Pigeon store 1950”
“Right now admiral is advertising Diesel 3.99 pay cash and you get an extra $0.10 off per gallon. They Now are able to sell frier foods, made in house. Price points are not unreasonable. Clean and organized.”

“I did not expect to find a gas station this late at night open and be so immaculately clean. The bathrooms smelled very clean and was a very nice surprise. I started noticing the entire store was very organized and cleaned. The cashier was very nice also. Very impressed.”
“Love Tito and Minnie!! Sweetest people and store owners in this area. I have eaten good food here, love the burgers, gizzards, wedges and I go there almost every day, have been for the past 4 years! Never seen anything less than good customer service from Tito and his wife. People want to pick and choose who runs a particular store and that’s why people have a “negative review”. Personally, I have had only 1 particular employee of his that I had to put in her place because she was picking & choosing when it came to customers (just like customers pick & choose with store owners) but other than her, his employees are kind and caring. Store is clean and stocked and apparently he is not all that bad considering his lunch rush hour with a packed store and early morning rush before work!!”

“The woman that was working on my last visit was just a wonderful person because I am an insulin dependent diabetic and my blood sugar had dropped so low I couldn't think. She was immediately beside me and said you're a diabetic aren't you? And I was just nodding my head and shaking and she asked me high or low? I was too low. She knew exactly what she knew what I needed and gave me some milk and I felt better within 10 minutes. She is an Angel. And the store was so clean and the bathroom was as well. Johnny's Shell has my business and has had a good relation.”

“Last Friday night probably atound 9:30 or so I stopped in as I was having car troule on my trip from Valparaiso to Angola. Spencer was working and as I assume they are trained to ask " is there anything else I can do for you". When Spencer asked I jokingly asked if he knew anything about fixing cars. Before I knew it he was outside looking under the hood. Turns out it was just a loose fuse and he seated it back in. Car has worked great ever since. He is a fine young man and we greatly appreciated his help. I would have had no idea what to look for. Now days nobody seems to want to both to do their jobs then you run in to a young man that is willing to lend a hand where needed. A nice change and much appreciated.”

“Really convenient for shopping when you're on a walk, especially after the dollar store nearby closed down, always have donuts, a surprisingly good food selection, like I've never seen those salami/cheese/cracker things in gas stations before, but they have those here. They also have a freezer/mixer thing with milkshakes/smoothies cups that you mix at the thing, never seen one of those before either. They also always have flowers and more coffee machines than they need.Staff has never given me any problems either, so that's a plus too.”

“I stopped here real quick for a potty stop, and when I was checking out, the cashier charged me twice for my two drinks.
This had frustrated me at first, but the silver-lining is that I strategically buy drinks to save with the fuel rewards program anyway. I would have purchased the same drinks over the next couple of days anyway, so after removing the tired and emotional thoughts from the equation, he actually did me a favor on accident.
Between this Shell and the Shell in Grand Rapids on the corner of Michigan St and Fuller, I ended up saving $0.65 per gallon and ran my car below qrtr tank on purpose to maximize my savings. The next time I filled up at a Shell, I ended up saving $7.15, which is pretty good.
Thanks for the hidden happiness from that situation, lol. The restrooms were also very clean.”

“Jits is such a nice family friendly place. One of the last home town feeling gas stations I know of.... The ONLY suggestion I have is they they NEED a rewards program better than trying to apply for the Philips 66 credit card which honestly isn't even a good deal in and of it's self. Other than that they have amazing employees who will do what they can to help and are are always courteous and kind!!!!!!”
