“We stayed two nights. Loved that we were so close to the lake. Internet was poor (but that's the area as a whole), except early morning hours. Our bathroom door did not close (if you tried to force it, you would get stuck in the bathroom). Also the bathroom window doesn't have a curtain or something to block it. We enjoyed the chairs and table outside. It was close to everything. The coffee/ice cream shop right on property was nice too! Beds were comfortable. Clean. We enjoyed our stay”

“Camping here site 62 lot was nice size and quiet// bathrooms were pristine , showers were hot nice lodge to play games or sit by i door fire. Wish the septic, water and electric were all together had to pick which I wanted ! Staff very helpful and pleasant! And bonus dumping station!”

“We stayed at KML two nights in August before heading on to Isle Royale. I highly recommend this lodge. It is quaint, quirky, nostalgic and fun. Check in was exceptionally easy even though we arrived “after hours”. Our cabin was unlocked, key on the table and lights were on.
First night, since arriving later, we took our own cocktails to the dark sky area next to the lodge. It was a beautiful night and enjoyed the experience greatly. Getting up the next morning we sundered over to the lodge for breakfast. Coffee was hot and robust as was the egg, bacon, veggy bowl. Nice hearty way to start the day. Spend the entire day experiencing the K Pennisula, from lighthouses to copper mines. We were really looking forward to our final evening as we had reserved the private dining with Chef Wii! Our party of six had selected our dinners a couple of weeks prior from a menu sent to us by Chef Wii. The dinners were exceptional, the atmosphere matched the food and the explanation of each entree by Chef Wii made it even more fun. We had brought our wine so there was a small corkage fee.
