“This is a rare and special place with a wonderful selection of literature and nonfiction in Arabic. Samar was so sweet, she took me around the store and found everything I wanted. I studied Arabic previously and my vocabulary is not great, but Samar was so patient and would help translate book titles as needed and explain what different books were about. She had a lot of recommendations and I ended up buying more books than I had expected to!
Logistics: I was there at 12 but the store didn't open until 10-15 minutes after. It is unclear how the pricing works as the prices are not listed on the books, but I felt they were fair.
There is no comparable bookstore where I live (many states away). This place is truly a gem and very worth a visit. I just wish I had budgeted more time to peruse!”
