ALDI is a favorite grocery store with everyday low prices on quality groceries and home goods. The Detroit location is newly renovated, clean, and neat. It offers fresh food, including meat, seafood, produce, and baked goods, with store brands that do not have a lot of garbage in the ingredients list. The prices are decent and provide true financial relief. The store also has helpful and pleasant staff, though some cashiers have been noted to have attitude problems. A common issue is the long wait to check out, suggesting a need for more cashiers. Overall, it offers pretty good buys and has changed for the good.
Love the prices at Aldi. I gave a four star because sometimes the line is too long.

My absolute favorite grocery store simply because … read the labels. They carry many things with ingredients that are normal food items! Their store brand spaghetti sauce is tomatoes spices, garlic, olive oil etc.. , and it tastes way better than the national brands.. maybe due to the leaving out of the “extra”
