“Great place for Latin American specialty groceries! This is my go-to when I need tomatillos, nopal, epazote, etc. They also have great fresh and frozen tamales (my favorite are the cheese and jalapeño ones). I will say that the prices are a little higher so this isn't my standard place for weekly supplies.”

“I bought the very-best plant pot that I have EVER had at this super market and I HIGHLY recommend to any indoor gardeners. They were selling these beautiful, tall terracotta pots, so I took one home and drilled a hole in the bottom. I have never seen a pot provide such wonderful drainage for my plants. Highly recommend. Photos are from 06/30/2022 and 03/28/2023”

“They have a good beer selection. But they need to crank that beer cooler down another 5-10 degrees. Every single time I get beer from here from their cooler I have to take it home and stick it in my freezer for a good half hour or so to get it so it's not warmish. I don't know about you, but I like my beer cold!Other than that it's a pretty decent store. A little overpriced but it's a convenience store so I get it. The beer prices are ok, it's the groceries I'm taking about.”

“Fantastic price'sNice and helpful workers except for the security guard, accidentally left my phone at the store and when I TRIED talking to him, he really was rude and not helpful at all.I'm speaking about the Aldi store located at 8 mile and Gratiot”

“Had to delete my last review for this store due to getting confused and reviewing Pri nce Valley Market instead. This place Garden Fresh is good if you want to get in and get out. The ladies at the cash registered are extremely friendly. They don't honor their own sales papers. Meat looks old and smells. It's ok but not a great store. Way over priced on everything.”

“I love this store. I have been shopping at Parkway since before they moved to their current location in the old Farmer Jack on Jefferson. The meat is top notch and at far cheaper and better than any place except maybe Eastern Market. They have actual butchers that can break down an animal and they do. Not everything is cheap.......like most stores. I shop most everywhere, Aldi, Kroger.... every week so I know the prices The owner is always getting deals like Triscuits for a buck a box NOT OUTDATED. I would drive to Rochester to see if I could find that deal there but heard traffic was backed up on Rochester Road. Meat people very helpful and present if you want something special or have a question. I have had a lot of special meat orders throughout the years. I also like the checkout people, fun and friendly. To Darrell K...........HAVE A NICE DAY....... Madge from the neighborhood”

“I go to the store three or four times a week. It is my go-to. The staff is wonderful and caring. The store is very clean all the time. If you need an item, the staff is more than pleased to help Have grown to learn that the Aldi's products are great. For many years I was a Costco junkie love Costco to this day. However, I no longer am feeding a family of six I live by myself and Aldi's sells me the right amount of food so I don't have a lot of waste. It's a great store.”

“I have no idea how this place doesn't have close to five stars. It's so good. I've tried most of the restaurants in the area and this is by far the best one. I got the asada tacos and they seemed to be bigger than the other tacos in the area for the same price. The fries were beyond delicious as well.My boyfriend had Quesadillas and he really enjoyed those as well.”

“Really great service have been shopping here for a few years now the only downside is is obviously they have a meat counter in the back of the store so it may yet smell like dead meat, but who cares for the prices I can overlook it”

“The good thing about the supermarket is just right around the corner from my house I don't have to drive all the way to Walmart they're a little more expensive but closer sometimes you have to compromise”

“I use to shop here all of the time when I lived in the area. I went back a few months ago. They got all kinds of good foods in there. Still very clean and organized. I left out with about $300 worth of stuff. Still love it!”

“Just a small neighborhood store that stocks basic items. One plus is that they had paper goods available when the larger chains were completely out.One minus is the lack of pharmacutical items like sleep aids, vitamins or cold medicines.”

“Love the improvement's, cashier's are very friendly, recycling doesn't accept Faygo bottles or energy drinks, do not recycle glass. Recycling after 11am, not after 5pm.”

“The entry doors have motion detector for easy assisted entrance. The aisles are spacious with a sufficient variety of products and produce. There are plenty check out lanes with attendants. The merchandise are displayed organized presentable without any apparent damage or disorder. Quite impressive grocery store they operate.”

“One of the few decent and affordable grocery stores in the Detroit area. Area itself outside may seem a bit dirty, but inside the store they keep things clean and have very good items at discounts. Definitely better than spending $15.99 at the Whole Foods for the same quality item here for $5.”
