“On a road trip when the oil maintenence warning came on at the 5000 mark. Went in for an oil change, they checked the oil and asked if I was on a long road trip because the oil was very clean. Told me I could go ahead with the change but could go another couple thousand miles if I wanted to wait until we got home. How honest is that!!! Highly recommend these guys if you're in the Lansing MI area.”

“My car alerted me that my front tires were low on air. I had knee surgery a few weeks ago, so I knew that I could not do it without some help. I stopped in and Jake was kind enough to stop what he was doing and put air in all four of my tires. I really appreciated him today!”

“I have lived in SJ for over 20 years and until last month I had always sprayed off my own vehicle at the car wash on 27. It cost $7+, I would get wet and as it turns out, I’m not very good at it so I would leave poorer, wet and with a car that’s still dirty.
On a day I was feeling worth it, I decided to pull into Masters for the first time and try their service. The people were very professional and kind. The price was very reasonable and WHEN I LEFT I had a very CLEAN car!! Needless to say, I’m a convert. Try this place. You won’t be disappointed!”

“I needed a self-serve car wash while visiting family in the area recently and this location was located only a couple of miles from where we were staying. Overall, the self-serve wash bay did a surprisingly good job of washing off the dirt without me having to use a wash mit. The sign that mentioned something about paying $20 for a car wash was a bit confusing at first, but then I reasoned that you can get a wash for just a few dollars. Other than that, the wash process went well. The cost was probably in line with other similar car self-serve car washes. I'm not a fan of using a credit card at a location like this, so I appreciated that the wash bay will accept tokens (or credit cards).”
“Amazing car wash. Employees are kind and helpful. They have vacuums and an air pump for your tires. They also have great prices, definitely worth your money! You should definitely sign up for a monthly because their wash is just that good!”
“This car wash is great. Only issue I've run into is the 2nd bay the button for the credit card slot isn't super responsive and it jammed and gave me an extra 11 min when I just needed 2”

“The machine was broken and took my money without giving the wash, however when I called the customer service line they were prompt with the refund and were able to fix the issue quickly. Good service for my car and great customer service.”
“The automatic touchless wash is my favorite wash in the Lansing area. I was surprised it was only $10 for the full package. The color changing light is super cool and fun for the kids! This car wash is always so clean and well maintained. I definitely recommend!”

“I really like their new hanging vacuums! Older style car wash vacuums always have dirty gross hoses because they land on the ground or get dragged through the driveway area. The hanging ones are clean and easy to use without dragging a filthy hose through the car.
I also really like their unlimited wash packages.”
“I have been a SS customer for 25+ years. I have always had great experiences with this business. Following my visit in December 2025, I had an issue with the results of my interior detailing. I contacted Mark, the owner and he immediately agreed to fix the problem. I brought my Jeep back in and his team redid the interior. The result was excellent. I have recommended SS to many of my friends and coworkers over the years and will continue to do so. In this day and age where we are less than satisfied with customer service, it is refreshing to know that there are businesses who still care...who still put the custom first. I give Showroom Shine 5 stars!”
“This was a fairly nice car wash, however it only takes Quarters so bring cash. There is a change machine on the front of the building. 5 bucks was enough to spray the dirt off my truck, but not actually wash it, so I think its fair this day in age with everything being so expensive.”

“Eric, Tanner and the younger gentleman with longhair took care of all my car care needs today! I came in for air in my tires and they noticed my windshield washer fluid light was on, they offered to fill it up for me and replaced my windshield wipers for less than what it would have cost me to do it myself. Happy to support local businesses! Especially when the service is top notch & the staff are friendly and love their jobs.”
