“The staff uniformly great race n, snow, sleet, sun. But the closing hour is 5 pm and is not 6 pm as you might hear. Any day it is open it now is closing by 5 pm (and some days earlier). Also there is a lunch break. See details on a sign at the building.”
“I have had a great experience with this USPS overall. The customer service at this location is always good. Everyone is fast, friendly, and efficient. Although packages sometimes arrive late, the USPS Informed Delivery feature is absolutely the best - it helps me stay updated on exactly what’s arriving and when.
I also rented a mailbox at this local USPS branch for 1.5-2 years when I lived in the dorms, since my mail often got lost or stolen there (never had that issue in any apartments, just dorms!). Having a mailbox at USPS solved that completely. Overall, best service ever!”

“Our experience with Dewitt Post Office was AMAZING as always! We were waiting on t-shirts for a memorial service, even paid extra to ensure on time delivery. Well the company didn't deliver. BUT after tracking the shirts down we were waiting on UPS to deliver to USPS in Dewitt. I called them and spoke with a very polite woman at the the desk the night before and she told me to call in the morning, the day of the service. I called and the package had already been put into route. So it was a waiting game, praying he would be on time. Then we received a call back from the Post Office the lady who had helped me the night before said that she had reached out to the Carrier and he was going to be rerouting and delivering them to our home immediately. Just as she said our shirts were delivered within 15 minutes to our home and we had them to wear to our service. I just want to say thank you so much to Andrew our Carrier, who is our regular Carrier and thank you to the woman at the Post Office, we didn't catch her name. We are so grateful for their EXCELLENT SERVICE AND CARE!!!”
“Dropped off a large box here to ship long distance. Staff was super nice and helpful and was in and out of the location pretty quick even though there was a bit of a line. The inside seemed half empty (much like the mall nearby) and the location felt like it is just hanging on. But, again, key was the staff were nice and efficient.”
“There's an employee there, her name starts with a G and she's possibly the most sweetest person ever. I had put the wrong address on my package and she helped me through everything and would call me giving me updates on the situation. She never sounded irritated or annoyed with me and like I said, she was very helpful.”

There are times that they do get really busy and that can take quite a bit longer but I usually have problems within minutes at this facility. Very helpful and good communication with employees making decisions to seek help here since I live very close to it.”
