“I have stopped at this store two times in as many weeks, and at each visit, I was extremely stressed and looking for a product that I doubted I would find in the general store in such a small town. The first visit found me looking for a bag of dog food for my Pittie who suffers from severe skin and food allergies. Not only did they have dog food, they had a high-quality, grain-free, organic food that I have used successfully before. The second visit was at 6:50am on a Friday morning. I was completely surprised that they were open so early. I needed a quart of engine oil as my light had just come on, and the store has the type I needed. It was around 0° (yes - XERO!!) outside, and I was dressed for a fay of meetings in a professional setting. To my great delight, the lady who sold me the oil offered to have someone put the oil in the car for me! Thank you, Merritt General Store!!!”

“I always make a point to stop in when I am within 30 miles of the place to visit the gun counter. This is the only place I know you can go right in and handle any and all guns on display. They have some really good deals every now and then.”
