They truly try to find the root cause and they can do a lot of testing in their office which is really nice. The vet techs are also A+ and make blood draws and shots super quick and easy for your dogs!”
“Came in as a referral from Animal Emergency center in rochester -I couldn't be happier with the level of care, detail and reassurance from Dr. wycislak , Although i'm terrified still of a seizure happening again, i have much more confidence knowing that the dr is on our side/ team to help us through any future episodes or switching up treatment plans if necessary . I arrived terrified and traumatized and left feeling more confident and understanding of seizures in dogs and have peace of mind with a spray to administer if necessary- thank you so much Dr. W and team!!! we hope to never see you again ? but if this ends up being more consistent then at least I know I have you! I go to a lot of veterinary clinics for my job, and I can honestly say Walled Lake Veterinary Hospital stands out as one of the best. From the front desk to the medical team, everyone is welcoming, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do.
Dr. Burns, in particular, is fantastic. He’s extremely personable, genuinely funny, and incredibly easy to work with. He has a great way of putting both pets and their owners at ease, while still being thorough, professional, and informative. You never feel rushed, and he takes the time to explain things in a way that makes sense and builds trust.
The entire hospital operates with a level of care and organization that you don’t always see. Whether it’s routine visits or more involved care, they consistently deliver a great experience and treat every pet like their own.

They helped my family through a very hard day when she passed. The staff here are amazing. I have recently gotten a kitten and they are caring for him as well. When he saw allison that tail started wagging as if there was no tomorrow. I must say I was a bit jealous to find out that he fancy allison. The love that he received is undescribable. Hillsdale Veterinary Hosp. Is the best in Farmington. It's home away from home and my dog loves it there. The staff and doctors are phenomenal!”

“I absolutely LOVE this place! The Doctors and staff I’ve encountered have been so kind and caring. My more recent experiences with veterinary offices (last ten years) have often felt rushed; you feel like a number. However, this office stands out far above the rest!
After moving back home with our 10-week-old puppy, Mille, who was sick and needed to be seen ASAP, Commerce Village Vet was the only vet willing to see her immediately (including my previous vet). Other offices had appointments in 10-14 days if I wanted to wait that long, or they suggested I take her to an ER vet. No way could I let my girl continue in pain for that long. Also, she was a puppy, and I wanted to start Ellie off with her new vet and the best experience possible. I didn’t want her first vet appointment here to be traumatizing.
Since our first, we’ve had several visits, and each one reminds me how much I appreciate them and how happy I am to have found them.

My dog needs to be sedated for grooming due to past trauma that left him fearful of people, and Dr. G has helped us in ways no one else would—or even understood. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind, and every technician who has cared for our little guy has been the same.
