“My air conditioner went out on the 4th of July during this ongoing heat wave. Couldn’t get an HVAC company out on the holiday, so decided to DIY the repair and replace the capacitor.

I called all over to source the part, and every store was either closed for the holiday weekend, or they didn’t carry AC capacitors.

I called this Garden City Ace, and they had exactly the part I needed and were open on the 4th of July.

Great customer service and extremely knowledgeable staff - the Manager was very polite and helpful over the phone.

“Sky Works is amazing. Don’t waste your time dealing with Home Depot. I went their first and it was a complete dumpster fire. The woman at the desk basically begged me not to rent the skid steer they had because she didn't know how to rent it out. Sky Works was the opposite. The guys are complete professionals. They loaded me up in 5 minutes and taught me how to use the machine. It was cheaper than the Depot too. My dad flipped the skid steer over and they sent out a mechanic to fix it and they didnt give me a hard time or even charge me. Thank you guys, you made a seemingly impossible project get done.”

Lots of BBQ grilling and fireplace stuff.

They have many drawers of all the little nuts bolts and fittings a household needs; including Metric.

Some of the stock is a little shopworn, but that also means that some of it is USA made.

Staff is knowledgeable on many repairs.
