“I cannot say enough good things. This is BY FAR the cleanest thrift store I’ve ever been to. There were a lot of staff (all very friendly), the racks were immaculately neat and easy to shop and the offer I got for what I was selling was very fair! The product is fairly priced and they have a wide range of brands from designer to budget.
I only stopped in because I had a frustrating selling experience at a nearby Plato’s Closet and came here since I noticed it was close by. I don’t know why I haven’t been going here all along! I have definitely been converted to become an Uptown Cheapskate loyalist. I’ll be coming back again and again!”

The staff is very caring and will take your items and treat you and your items with respect.
This thrift receives high end items and the store is setup like shopping high end stores likes Macies, Hudsons, Bronners Christmas stores.
The best thing is all personnel are volunteers, and proceeds to go food banks, housing and other non-profits like Crossroads in Detroit.”

“Staff is amazing here! Such a lovely location for that reason alone! Pricing is fair most of the time and while the location isn't huge, they still have interesting items that change out often! The line can get a bit long especially on busy days or sale days. However later in the evening on weekdays I find it to not be that bad.”

“So excited to have found a TON of gently used picture books that I know my art and reading students will LOVE! It was buy 3 get 2 free and I ended up finding several titles I would’ve spent a fortune to buy on Amazon for around $2 at Once Upon A Child. They had multiple deals going and am looking forward to going back sometime to check out the clothes and toys!
Also I am so appreciative of the staff’s graciousness, patience, and kindness ringing up such a tedious book order after close (don’t do what I did and completely lose track of time shopping and accidentally overstay well after close). Also make sure to byo bags/containers :)”

“First of all the staff are very nice. One thing I don’t like is this new layout of the store, it’s weird, but I got used to it sort of. They usually have at least one thing that I can get from here, a big selection of shirts, sweatpants, and shorts for sure. The electronics aisle is sometimes cluttered, but you can look thru it still. If you go to a goodwill around here, I recommend this one.”

“Smaller Salvation Army store with a friendly staff.
Always look behind the check out counter for 'the good stuff'.
Drop off is a drive-through behind the building, you enter from the East side.
Not too many tools, but lots of printers and scanners.
Changing rooms are in the back NE corner.
When you walk in, always check what color tags are 1/2 off on the sign.
Televisions are often in the furniture section.
Never seen any vinyl from the 70s or latter. It seems that everything is from the 50s or is religious in theme. Not really a place to shop if you are looking for wax.
A lot of women's clothing!
Oddly, almost all of the art is in the front window, fading from the sun.
Recommended, with limitations.”
