Grocery Stores
“Aldi is nice for quick shopping trips when you want to avoid the larger, more crowded stores. Their non-food aisle is fun to shop. I have found great items for my porch in the spring. Solar lamps and decor.”
“Very helpful associates and thank you Lynn your conversation brightened my night and appreciate the information on all the updates to the store and produce section!”
“The associates in the clothing department today were wonderful. I only was talking to myself about a price and they went above and beyond to get me what I needed. Thank you.”
“We were talking to a friend about Treetops Resort and in our conversation, he noted we needed to visit the Sparr Mall. As we were driving, taking in the fall colors, we happened upon a sign directing us to the Sparr Mall. We knew it was small, but enjoyed seeing the selection of wares available. The staff was very welcoming and helpful.”
“It's the best place for whole food organic vitamins and supplements. I'm a 53 year old tree climber which is like being a dinosaur in my business. I'm still out working and out climbing "men" half my age and JoJo's market is a key part of keeping my edge. The ladies who work there are knowledgeable friendly and well worth the 5 star rating in this TreeBarians opinion”
“Yesterday I went to the Dollar General on N Centeal Ave and got a couple of the things there. I wanted to pay half with cash and the rest on my ebt card. The machine wouldn't take the card Rick was his name. He took out a dollar to help pay the rest owed. I'm thankful for his help he didn't have to help but did, I'm thankful for his help and he should be rewarded for it.”
“Too early for most vegetables, but still fun. Always a prime source for maple syrup products. Two people sharing a table have superb Petoskey and pudding stone products, and the rocks in varying degrees of finishing”
“This is a nice grocery store to shop if you want to avoid the larger stores in town. Produce is nicely stocked and displayed and the store seems well maintained.”
“walmart is my favorite store by far i live right by it so i go almost every single day for everything weather it’s food, my heath stuff, clothes, gifts, i mean everything”
“Female gm was very rude. What I mean by rude is she wasn't smiling and had a very short tone of voice on her. I asked if they had milk coming in any time soon because I know they just opened up a few months ago and she said "does it look like it?" In a snippy tone of voice. If you don't like your job mabe find something else lol idk people are disrespectful these days! Other then that the store was kept very clean and I got everything else I needed for a short mini vacation.”
“Even though they didn't have what I went in for, someone stopped what he was doing and looked, double checked. And made me feel like a valued customer. I'll go back to this store.”
“I have an interesting relationship with this place. Aesthetically the building is beautiful with its alpine-inspired architecture and the beautiful murals lining the interior walls make you feel like you are in the Sistine chapel. The clock in the front with the little wooden swiss people dancing is excellent too. It's a nice vibe, but as for the products, it's what you would expect with most family-fare supermarkets. For the most part overpriced but they have great deals if you have a yes card. There also is a built-in dairy queen and Starbucks but be warned... do not use the bathrooms near the dairy queen. Every time I've tried it looks like an atomic bomb went off with water and s*** everywhere. Just plain nasty yo.”
“Great place to earn points toward getting up to a dollar off per gallon of gasoline. That’s quite a savings when you look at the price of gas at the other gas stations. That alone is worth the five star rating but there are many other reasons such as friendly staff, clean store, willingness to help when needed etc.”
