“We visit Grand Haven every summer, and always visit the Book Cellar. Three or four years ago, I found there what is now my prized possession: a gorgeous 1941 Heritage Press edition of the Count of Monte Cristo. The owner had just brought it in with some other books and was extremely kind to let me look through the boxes for it.
I've come back every summer since (and always look to see if they have any copies of the Count!). This is my favorite bookstore in Michigan. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, it's so much fun to look through the shelves, and I never fail to find something interesting.
